Just had a gander at some of the other prices for next season in league one... not a definitive list but just a rough sample...

Typical that there will be moaners on here, whatever Wildes tries to do to better the Vale. Can't satisfy everyone no matter how hard he tries. I fully accept people are living through hard times but at the end of the day Wildes is not going to jeopardise the finances of an ever improving club to please each and every person who may want to watch one or more Vale home games! Everything is nowadays expensive but you have to put it in context....do you want to watch an entertaining, successful football Club or not? Do you want Vale to progress? It will be, in the majority, people who moan anyway that will not pay the prices advertised and they are the ones that will also complain if Vale do not try and entice class footballers to our club!! We are on a high at present and it's a bit difficult to accept people's constant gripe at Vale about pricing and how to pay. The deals announced are VERY GOOD ones!!!!

Wildes and Smurf have done their bit, at £13 a game, it's not unreasonable to expect 6000 Vale fans to do the same.

Doing it monthly makes it more expensive that Stoke.. As i say the original price is good, but the monthly plan and the matchday prices seem a bit steep to me.

The pricing is more or less what I'd thought it might be. Of course i'm well pleased with the 'old tax dodgers' price. Not that i'll be buying one of course. ;)

 

Like a few have said, I think the 17th May deadline is a bit short of what it could be. May 31st would've been preferable to most I think.

 

The gate price was always going to go up. We're in a higher division and if we want additions to the squad we're going to have to do our bit to help.

I can see why there is a lot of disappointment I think the price is higher than i expected, there is no loyalty bonus for existing season ticket holders to renew & the interest on the payment plan is a bit high Tranmere Rovers are doing payment options for fans without interest. Im not slating them but I think if it had been sub £280 they would have sold many many more.

 

Personally - expected just under £300 and am happy with that

So far they have got everything right. Lets hope this too is good for the Vale

 

Do think other prices / deals are poor and to hit 5000 ' paying ' [ not free kids ] is doubtful

 

Plan payment offers no incentive - £ 79 extra to todays price too much

but its only £19 extra to the May 17th price so should you expect to pay a little more ?

 

Walk up price £22 - too much

 

 

At £22 buying a season ticket now gives 9 free games

Keeping this seasons price of £20 would still give almost 8 free games.

Still a good incentive for a season ticket and offers a better walk up price.

 

Not sure what options there will be for a group of tickets !!!

People may hold back from a season ticekt waiting for these offers. Not good

If its a poor offer and they dont take it up the we lose out

 

 

Surely they would not offer a choice of games for a set price ?

You dont let people choose their games. The bigger games will pull the best gates anyway.

Surely it will be for a set number of games say comm Sept x 6 consecutive home games

Sat / Tue games too need an incentive.

Py on the gate for 23 games costs £506. Season ticket 305 (with the voucher). You can miss 9 games and still make a profit!

i think they will hit their 5k target no problem has as been said the installment price is a little high

 

i hope they go through with the online pick your match ticket option for us shift workers i will be picking through my shift pattern when the fixture list comes out a ten match deal at say 150 to 180 would be great for me

Im not yet sure of the logic of increasing walk up prices, however I await to see what develops before jumping to conclusions.
