Season Tickets: availability; prices

I'm disappointed with the deadline of May 17 as this does'nt give us much time to get the money together especially as the holiday season is upon us less than 6 weeks later.

Ive spent a considerable amount of money following our promotion push both home & away and as it stands there is no respite as I'm being asked to fork out a large sum of money less than 3 weeks after the season ended. For those of us that are paid monthly this isnt a well thought out exercise for next season. No doubt about it I will struggle to get the best bargain on offer given the terms offered.

I'll be paying with next weeks winnings, Wycombe 10 Vale 0 and Cheltenham 20 Bradford 0, all looking good.

Actually I'll be dipping into my savings sadly, payday being the 21st, been a bit of an expensive month with going away on Jimmys coaches, need to get a second job just to pay for the raffles.

According to Wildes & Smurf these prices are going to give us the chance to compete at the top of the table, so on that basis i think the prices are excellent.

Look what happened at Chesterfield last season when they didn't invest, straight back down. Look at Shrewsbury this season, haven't invested, 4 points off relegation. Even Crewe, although they've had a few decent results they've struggled all in all. If wasn't for the loanee's ( Inman, Aneke etc) they'd be hovering just above the relegation zone too. I've been on their websites this season & all it's been is moan, moan moan. Not happy chappies any of them.

We don't want that do we? Wildes has said he want's to be around the playoffs, maybe promotion, transfer fees paid, bringing in players at the peak of their footballing careers. This sounds all to good to be true for me, but if by paying that little extra & going that extra mile helps us in our quest for back to back promotions then i'm quite happy to put my money in.

:micky:

If we struggle like Crewe have done this year, I'll be very happy. JPT win and comfortably mid table in the league above where we have been for the last 5 years. Sounds a good season.

If it's under £300, then they're massively underselling the product.

£340 ish with £20 off for renewals is about right.

You heard it here first.

I think they've got this right, but I'd like to see a cheaper price for under 18's in general. Walsall's £46 ST where the kid gets £2 back each game they attend (effectively making it a free season ticket) is a blockbuster of a scheme and one I think we should have stolen.

If you happy with consolidation that's fine. I would of been too, but Wildes doesn't wan't to do that does he, he wan'ts to push on & go for it again next season. Crewe fans have moaned most of the season because of the poor quality of football on the field, yes they've had a few decent results but they're far from happy with their season.

Simple thing is to get a credit card as suggested with 0% interest for six months and pay it that with if you had planned to pay installments... theres ways around it and who wouldnt want to be on the ride we are on now next season? Some massive games next season as League One is riddled with fallen giants.
