To right - time for MA and his team to shut up and put up - lets face it if promotion was achieved by positive spin/retorik we would already be promoted.

 

Lets hope the results over the next 7 games get us across the line.

 

P.S. the best manager and team currently in div2 is Mad dog and Gills (note for Mr Wildes):yes:

Biggest game this season so far and I can't go. Gutted. ****.

 

Why couldn't they have played it in the evening?

 

Not a dig but why couldn't you have taken the day off? Assuming you work local and Monday-Friday, this would've been possibly the only occasion you'd have had to this season.

 

Lost count of the number of vac days I've taken this year in order to make games (I'm expected to work Saturday's).

After watching Vale training today I am confident that the lads will do ok over Easter.It was a brilliant session and my only hope is that they carry it on to the football pitch on Friday.Micky was positive and sensible with his encouragement to the players.Some of the finishing today was spectacular.Well done lads and please keep it up:yes:

Yes, it is a massive game. If we don't win it though, and I think it will be a low scoring draw myself, then PLEASE don't flood OVF and Praise and Crumble and the Sentinel with a wave of doom - this one game actually decides nothing, and I think the Burton and Northampton games will prove more significant.

 

It is not a game to go hell for leather for the win and then lose it on the break - in fact by being cautious, Vale may actaully snatch a win, but a draw followed by a win at Chesterfield would keep the pot boiling.

 

A lot will also depend on other teams results this weekend - for instance Rotherham play Gillingham and this time we probably could do with Gillingham taking something from that game.
