Cheltenham. Good Friday. Pre game/game itself

After the results today its getting really tight for the automatic promotion places.

The Cheltenham game is the start of the run in.

Beat them and we can have real daylight between us and them. Failure to do so could find us out of the promotion places going into the Chesterfield game.

Easter is going to be pivotal.

In the space of 3 days we could have a handy sit or just off the pace.

I would like to think we will get a bumper crowd next week. I can see 7000+ and i hope we do.

We cant aford lose this game i justhope we start to improve our results at home. We havent got a good record against cheltenham so that needs to change.

If we beat Cheltenham on Friday and then win our game in hand v Aldershot then I think we have pretty much dumped Cheltenham out of the race for second.

It's great to have such exciting games coming up for a change at this stage in the season.

 

This couldn't be any more in our own hands with the way the fixtures have fell - only ourselves to blame if we stuff this up. A real test of character for the squad now.

Of course we need to be looking to win as many games as possible but I feel two wins out of the key Cheltenham, Burton and Northampton games in particular should still see us in the ascendency imo.

 

Two more wins from the other games should see us over to the finish line. It's easier said than done but I'd hope we can take 4 points from the two Easter games to keep us ticking over nicely.

Got to avoid defeat Friday. If we lose drop below cheltenham and Northampton would go into their late kick off knowing they can go above us. If we win puts distance between us with Cheltenham and northampton up against each other the following game.

Ifs buts and maybes. It's in our own hands - the players know the size of the task, they know they need to start winning at home.

 

We fans must get behind the lads and keep behind them no matter what's happening, our input can have a massive bearing......keep the faith, sing your heads off and roar us to promotion.
