I will be very disappointed if we don't get anything from this game. It's my first midweek game for a while due to work commitments.  So please we broke the old Vale mentality at Accy , we need to put the midweek hodoo well and truly to bed. Got to be up for this and all at 100% again, the Cowleys are no mugs so we need to be on our game. Come on u whites

Was speaking with a Walsall fan yesterday. Seems Colchester are a side that tries to play football but aren't overly physical. Think that may play into our hands as we seemed to have found a good balance between the two approaches.

I was disappointed on Saturday; Swindon were at best average and hit the post and then almost got back into the game with a late goal; we have to play  chislet from the start unless there are other issues we are unaware about

Strange how you seem not to mention the many chances we had, hitting the bar, keeper making a good save and a few going narrowly wide but that wouldn't fit for you would it

Sounds like the complete opposite of any Cowley side I have ever seen.

Calm down m8 - she'll have the dishes to do, first, when she gets in! 🤣

She'll fine cuddling up with me watching Vale take another 3 points.  Lucky girl, eh...??

(Thanks for asking)

Romance ain't dead in the Osh household. Glorious nights entertainment for her.

Ps hope she gets well quickly.

Guess who's going to be next in A&E with a dish implanted some where? 🤣

Swift recovery to the Mrs and 3 points to the Vale to make you all happy campers.

For Christ sake - dont show anything like that!  She makes Nora Batty look like the Hitler Youth!

I'll pass on your best wishes mucker.

Very confident we'll get the job done, even though we seem to have a poor record in mid-week games. Colchester try to play football which, on a large pitch, will suit us much better than playing the likes of Accrington on a pitch the size of a boxing ring.

Wonder if Moore is thinking about tinkering a bit and bringing in a couple of fresh players? I can see Chislett coming in for Hackford for one. Is Benicio injured, anyone?

Notice the referee tomorrow night has a history of sending players off, 3 times in 5 games refereeing us! Covalan v Cobblers, Smudge last season v Burton and Conlon v Walsall... although also sent the Morecambe man off against us season before last!

Not that I recall any being controversial in fairness!

The Vale line coming in, the 10/11 is now 4/5 at BEST....

Genuinely can't remember the Smith one whether it was deserved or not but the other two from Conlon and Crazy Cov were complete and utter acts of stupidity so wouldn't read much into that.

From Mike Baggaley newsletter

The manager said: “Benny is perfectly fine. He just had a personal one and we were in support with him. He just wasn’t involved today but I am sure by Tuesday he will be available again.”
