I lost a good friend this morning 😞 76 years old he was more like a Grandad & had a heart of gold. Big United fan but converted to a Valiant the last few years. You know the one 😉 His favourite player Tolaj! Couldn’t praise the guy enough.. Give us a goal & 3 points later Lorent 👊🏻 3-0 A Swiss brace & Chislett

Sorry to hear that m8.

Hows the weather up there? Heading up after work and its been pouring down here in the East Mids since yesterday evening so wondering if any potential postponement?

Matchday under the lights 💥 A fantastic chance to keep the momentum going & close in on those automatic spots! Loud & proud Come on Vale 💙

Still tipping it down but should be ok I’d have thought.  No mention of a pitch inspection thus far.  Not seen the forecast but think it’s due to clear up later so you’ll be able to have an hour in the fanzone.👍🏻

raining most of the day so far

The new drainage they put in should hopefully be still working. Also it’s early enough in the autumn for the grass to still be alive so I’d have thought there’s a good chance of the pitch standing up to the volume of rain over the past 2-3 days.

I’m not one for predictions plus not sure what to think about this one.  They have a few decent players, on the proverbial paper.  We’re making plenty of chances but do like to leave the back door open giving teams a chance themselves.  Given our current form and their recent tonking maybe they’ll park the bus and try to pinch a goal?  You’d have to think the squad will be rotated but I hope DM doesn’t make too many changes, which could upset the balance.

I’m not going to predict a score but I fail to understand why they keep watering the pitch to make it too slippery and why our goalkeeper keeps kicking it long

Noticed that on Saturday. Just after the half time deluge players slipping all over the place. Are they worried about grass burns?🥵

The club seem happy enough

Can't see Vale winning 18-1, even for you that's stretching it a bit too far.

The pitch is excellent,I have no idea why people are worried 🙂
