We can't win on a Tuesday can we, surely?

I think with our squad we should have an advantage for games like this. I’d definitely leave Hackford out for either Paton, Chis or Curtis depending on formation. Not convinced with Hennegan so maybe debs in

Arguably the harder of the 2 games.

Hopefully they still shell-shocked from yesterday.

I think every game will be a harder game than yesterday.

Swindon are awful and it's brilliant!

Enjoy your week.

For us to win a game of association football on a Tuesday night is going beyond extreme.

Looking forward to this game for a couple of reasons. Firstly I think the lads will be really buzzing after Saturday. Secondly because a holiday I booked 6 months ago in Northern Scotland means that I miss the home games on October 12th and 19th. 😡😡😡.

Oh well, I'll be there in spirit.

4- 0 to the mighty whites on Tuesday.

Ha. Honestly with our squad and bench options I even feel optimistic about a midweek game. Would expect 2 or 3 changes to the starting XI for some fresher legs and rotate a little, bring in Debrah, Curtis and Paton for Heneghan, Hackford and Tolaj.

Bring it on 🙂

We are away on the 12th ??
Unless of course you live in Milton Keynes [emoji6]

Looking forward to this. Can we finally win on a cold blowy night at vale park? For me the starting squad is as per Saturday except Paton for hackford. Let’s really get at them from the start! UTV

As a follower /supporter when you find it hard to choose a team, because those on bench could easily be given a shirt then there's reasons be optimistic

Far too early to be overly optimistic

Like George Byers said its about creating a winning mentality .

I bet sat nights in the Sang / Debrah /Ripley /Garrity/Chislett households are a lot happier and they all contributing to that new feeling winning .

But if Moore chose say 5 fresh pair of legs on Tues I wouldn't bat a eyelid .

I really want Paton to succeed.

I like his hunger .

Curtis is a crowd pleaser I dont know why but I can see him bashing one in Tues.

UTV looking forwards to a veggie pukka pie hopefully Vale are scoring while I'm tucking into it at first echelons of second half

Oops, quite correct BHF, don't know how I messed that up. It's a sign of the times though that I didn't think it strange that we were home 2 Saturdays on the trot.

I was disappointed on Saturday; Swindon were at best average and hit the post and then almost got back into the game with a late goal; we have to play  chislet from the start unless there are other issues we are unaware about

I was hoping to get up for this game but the Mrs is in hospital during the day and I need to be here when she gets home.  Will watch on TV.  3-0 Vale.

If driving Saturday mornings I’m a regular listener to BBC 5 Live’s Fighting Talk. While driving up to the Chesterfield game the other week there was a round on sporting cliches. An answer from stand-up comedian Ivo Graham (a Swindon fan) referred to a podcast where someone had taken a statistical look at the cliche  ‘A cold wet Tuesday night in Stoke’. Apparently Molineux is statistically the hardest place to go, with Wolves rarely, if ever, losing - though cold is defined as 13C or below! Would be great, starting tomorrow night, for us to take that crown and change this footballing cliche for questioning a player’s/team’s battling attitudes, to ‘A cold wet Tuesday night at Vale Park’ (weather forecast permitting 😉).

Hope she's ok buddy, I'm sure a couple of warm Pikelets in her return home will be just the tonic [emoji6]

Sorry to go off topic Rob.

Calm down m8 - she'll have the dishes to do, first, when she gets in! 🤣

She'll fine cuddling up with me watching Vale take another 3 points.  Lucky girl, eh...??

(Thanks for asking)
