Not Ripley.

He was at full stretch to make a good save.

Poor ball retention and poor defensive marking.

Not sure what you were watching there. Could have caught it. At worse pushed to the side

Point. Not good enough.

Very poor performance in a scrappy game but thought we had stolen an undeserved 3 points.

He got a full palm on it and rather than do what you’re meant to do and put it around the post sent it right back into the one place where there was a risk of a goal. I genuinely don’t know what you’re seeing there.

Anyway another point. Frustrating should have been all three.

GK error..2 points dropped. It wasn't hard, straight at him... pathetic

Don't score enough.

Like I said on Saturday.

Set pieces and defensive cock ups are the only way we score.

They didn’t deserve anything with the way they played, but also we didn’t do enough. Very poor. Disappointed with Curtis when he came on.

Atrocious keeping from Ripley, I was right in line with the shot. Wasn’t anywhere near the corner and he pushes it straight back out into the box.

It was coming - we’ve seen it so many times before. We’ve been poor tonight though. Created next to nothing.

Really missed Byers when he went off. Croasdale has been poor. Garrity anonymous again.

John being at left back frustrates the life out of me because he hasn’t got a left foot.

Attacking wise - very easy to play against. Curtis, Chislett, Richards all offer glimpses then go missing for 10 mins. Tolaj just gives the ball away every time he has it.

Absolute dog <ovf censored> that. We turned up for 10 mins after half time, then reverted to crap. Not sure I've ever seen a player with a worse touch than Tolaj.

Shocking.

Ripley is a terrible keeper who thinks he is better than he actually is.

He constantly costs us goals

Well two points dropped thanks to the keeper again and sitting back. Horrible side who actually looked decent after they conceded. Subs did well, good changes from the manager. Starting 11 and Formation was wrong for me. Again back 5 not required at home, not enough creativity with the back 5. Concerned about Garrity, looks a real average player in Cm and we’re not getting the best out of him. Ah well onto Saturday, I’d like to see Curtis starting and some game time for Paton and us to actually use our quality players.

I am sorry, but that was just terrible goalkeeping and two points lost as a result of it.

Well Colchester will be overjoyed with that.
From Vales perspective our end game management needs alot of work. Alot.
2 points lost.
Ripley has to do better there.

Didn't do enough to win, as after we deservedly got ahead in the game we then did next to nothing against what looks a bang average side at best. Not enough creativity in the team, not helped by Byers limping off. Unbeaten in 5 but this almost feels like a loss.

Really poor League Two game that. Typical of a cold Tuesday night.
