Unbelievable!!! Why would Ripley palm the ball into that sort of area?

Because that's what Ripley does he could t catch a cold he's not good enough

The manager hasn't covered himself in glory either he didn't react to there  changes

Unfortunately shows our fragilities in that just a bit of pressure breaks us. They let us have so much ball and we could do very little with it. Much to do.

The “spirit of 2023-24” lives on. Take a slim lead, blunder our way through the second half and throw it all away at the death by conceding a soft goal. Just about got away with it against Swindon thankfully

Well two points dropped thanks to the keeper again and sitting back. Horrible side who actually looked decent after they conceded. Subs did well, good changes from the manager. Starting 11 and Formation was wrong for me. Again back 5 not required at home, not enough creativity with the back 5. Concerned about Garrity, looks a real average player in Cm and we’re not getting the best out of him. Ah well onto Saturday, I’d like to see Curtis starting and some game time for Paton and us to actually use our quality players.
Ripley is a terrible keeper who thinks he is better than he actually is.
He constantly costs us goals

GK error..2 points dropped. It wasn't hard, straight at him... pathetic
Not Ripley.
He was at full stretch to make a good save.
Poor ball retention and poor defensive marking.
Awful goalkeeper

We also need to understand that Ripley lumping it to Stockley doesn't work. Too many long balls tonight after Byers went off - we weren't creative enough in midfield, and that Garrity/Croasdale combination, whilst enforced tonight, doesn't do it either way. Garrity gave the ball away a lot tonight, and whilst he runs his conkers off, we needed more than that tonight. What does Paton have to do to get a game?

Garrity is playing in the wrong position though

Rubbish. It was nailed on they would equalise, we sat back and allowed the game to be a thousand miles an hour when they brought their subs on, ball was like a hot potato. So f****g obvious it would happen.

Stupid decision by Tolaj, how could he possibly get himself offside for that???

Poor goalkeeping from Ripley but why, oh why, oh why do we constantly try and settle for narrow wins against crap teams like this instead of putting the game to bed??? Frustrating is not the word.

Literally two point chucked away.

We do it every game. At 1-0 why not carry on dominating, go for another. No we sit in and invite pressure, happens every single time. Was inevitable. I’m a big fan of Tolaj, that was his worst performance in a vale top I thought.

Garrity has been bad for weeks

Garrity playing deeper is an absolute waste of everybody's time, including his own.

Don’t even get me started on that 🤬🤬

I’ll say it now……it’s pointless, he gives you absolutely nothing in that role. It just doesn’t work, end of.

We can't win on Tuesday nights. The curse continues. We were dire.

He is, I think if Byers is fit, it’s time for him and Croasdale to play together. Then garrity in front or not at all.

Takeaways from tonight:

1. Ripley needs dropping;

2. Moore’s tactics and tactical management of games are abysmal

Stupid decision to bring Tolaj on. Not the player you want coming on to hold on to a lead. He makes the wrong decision constantly. So raw it’s untrue.

Can’t see us getting anything at Notts County so a big 2 points dropped. Amos and Paton deserve a chance now.

Garrity is playing too far back

Ripley thinks he’s better than he is. He looks unfit. He moves too slow. He blames others and puts himself is strange positions.

col U made tactical changes and we were a one trick pony.

the only way to get out out this funk is to score more goals. You can’t do that with Garrity in a defensive midfield position.

what happened to Diamond and BBB? These guys would have run at them, won fouls, gained set pieces and it would be 4-0 up at 1/2 time

yes no
