Don't think Moore is going anywhere yet folks!

Agree that the signs are not good but he's not going anywhere!

Did you look in you're crystal ball 🙄😆

Why

We were all over them the last 10 mins. Even if we'd have played brilliantly and drawn 3-3 it's all about sticking the ball in the next - as others have said, Conor came close, we had one cleared off the line, should we have had another pen.

People saying we were garbage is simply wrong. Their goals were quite good and they weren't a bad side.

WE just need to improve by a small margin in each area. That should come in time.

This hatred of Moore is getting rediculous

Would love to hear what you thought of moored tactics for the last few games? Whats our identity? What are we trying to do?

Just how Carol has gone about past sackings.

And that she's invested a lot in DM.

He'll put a positive spin on it, you can be sure of that.

Can't judge this soon though that's my point

Of course you can these performances and the tactics are hangover from last season nothings changed really bar the huge influx of new players

I said that because the only thing you've said, like a lot of people on here, is negative.

The reaction on here is simply insane

Relax Osh. It’s not loads of folk, mainly the usual “glass half empty” crew. I think lots of us are disappointed but know that it’s early days. Moore might turn out to be useless, but the opposite might also turn out to be the case. The season isn’t decided in the first few games. Weren’t we top for a while last season?!

Simple. We've just bought on a whole new team, three of them only arrived yesterday. Clearly Donny are a settled side playing well together.

We've got to have time for the team to settle - we're a handful of games in and it will come.

Can’t take too many positives from the last 2 games. What do you want me to say? I don’t rate Moore, never have, every fan I’ve spoken to who he has managed before don’t rate him….Wednesday, West Brom and Huddersfield fans, in fact not spoke to one who would have him back. Saying that, we’ve got him and need to give him a bit longer, but this cannot carry on, he has to turn things round very quickly.

What do you think? You impressed with Moore and his tactics? How long are you willing to put up with results and performances like the last couple of games?

Well so far we have played a woeful side (sorry Salford) and 3 sides who are really well organised (two of which would have been promoted last year under a slightly different wind) - and we have been totally out-foxed.

My heart bleeds to read on here already comments like "Darren Moore doesnt know what he is doing" and we are not even a month into the season 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

But im sitting here being a keyboard warrior, and im thinking to myself - Darren Moore doesnt know what he is doing.

Since I witnessed one of the all time best Vale displays at Wembley, I cannot genuinely think of any time that I have seen some entertaining and enterprising football - it really does drain you after a bit.

I refuse to start picking apart all the way through the team, but one thing that is really getting to me is the attacking situation - Why on earth are we firing 100 foot high balls upto an attacker who is what, 5 10 at most. If Stockley is fit enough for 45 mins from the bench, get him on at the start and see if we can get a goal or two in front - I would love to see Todger or Paton playing off Stockley, with Benicio ripping it up from one of the wings - its so simple its untrue, but no, not a chance.

I will say however that our equaliser was a thing of beauty - A perfect through ball by Todger and a classy composed finish from Croesdale - boy, I really like him 👏👏👏👏

Thats all Im saying - im off to practice my golf driver - you know , just to finish the day off on a lower point 🙈🙈🙈😁😁😁

So I think it's 23 games under Moore and my question is what is our footballing identity ?  Vale have always played best with the ball on the grass not in the air.  Today (again) hoof it and hope and usually 2nd to every ball.  The football is dire, is this how Darren Moore prefers to play the game ?  Is this what we have to look forward to ?

Our identity is straight from the Gareth Southgate manual

Can’t keep using that excuse. The tactics are woeful. If we’re that fussed about everyone settling in then we shouldn’t be signing a further 3 kids on loan in positions we didn’t need on deadline day. This isn’t about not settling, it’s down right poor management and poor individual errors. Is the management that thick that they believe hoofing it up to the smallest bloke on the pitch will work once the team gels?

So his 15% winning ratio over the last couple of years or so is just a bad run of form, then?

Moore makes Southgate look like Bielsa.

Why

We were sloppy, disjointed, no shape, pattern, cohesion, nobody knows their roles in this formation, nobody was willing to settle it down and take the game by the scruff of the neck, we take an age to move the ball through the thirds, and when we do it’s scrappy and chaotic. We have absolutely no identity as a side and we concede lots of cheap goals for fun.

Doncaster fans offered their critique on Moore’s style of football and it’s hard to disagree at the minute.
