Tbh that was a kick in gonads for us and hand on heart, Hall buries his chance , Stockley one goes in instead of being cleared off the line , we win that 4-3 . However it’s the same story as last season  mostly in all games but we can’t defend for toffee . Moore to go ?  Well keep on changing managers we will end up where FGR are , once again we are saddled in a mess .

Even 2-3 massively flattered us.

All managers are judged on results and performance, squire

Can't judge this soon though that's my point

Doncaster are a good side and will probably be up there come the end of the season. They also have momentum from how they finished last season, but as early as it is in the current season we need to start winning soon, because I can’t see the fans sticking with him.

I'll be absolutely blunt and say that there's a very fair argument that we sack Moore soon and get Pete Wild in. That was that bad.

Is Pete Wild available? I’m on the opinion we should give Moore a bit longer although i don’t think he will get us up or anywhere close but keep hoping I’m wrong. Saying that, Wild is the manager I wanted in the first place so if we can get him then I’d be up for that.

Think I alluded to that by saying we can’t defend for toffee?

It would have been the crime of the century had we won that game. They shouldn't have been, but they were miles better than us.

Why not? He has been in charge for 23 games. I’d much prefer us to act early rather than waiting and waiting and waiting like last season

His time was probably up. But Carol made the mistake of replacing a quality lower league manager with a mate who never should have got the job, good a bloke as he was and still is. She then appointed Moore, making him out to be almost too good for little Port Vale, on the back of him getting laughed out of Huddersfield. You know you're in for a rough ride when not one single Huddersfield fan had a single positive thing to say about him. We're all seeing why.

You were crying out for Moore before we got him.

It’s not just the results though, the performances are miles from being good enough

My lad asked me what was my highlight of the game I replied when the Doncaster fans were singing Darren Moore you're football is S**t [emoji57]

Positives- "multifunctional group that we've got!"
Win ratio = 17%
(25% for L2 this season)
On to Newport away...
Doncaster looked a decent side. Organised, hard-working throughout each of the 98 minutes played, sharp up front! Decent away support for a match that was on the telly. Some good songs about Darren Moore!
Hope he can turn it around and prove many people wrong, including me!

I was surprised at the Donny fans taunting DM like they were. I thought he did well there? Whatever, they clearly remember him!

It’s because he left them in the lurch to go to Wednesday

So because I don't rate him, and think he's quite frankly rubbish, that must mean I don't want to eat humble pie?

I just refuse to believe as many still do that we'll suddenly come good down the line under him. It doesn't matter what players return and come into the side if he has no idea how to get the best out of them, and has no plan b.

Nah mate, you just want to be right so you can show off. Everyone's bored of your rhetoric now.

No, I wasn't. At the time he was one of the better ones available that was somewhat realistic. He at least had experience, unlike Crosby. When we got him I backed him initially despite what Huddersfield fans all said about him. Isn't that what supporters do? To at least give the benefit of the doubt?

Patience when results are bad but performance good is rational.

Patience when, 23 games in, there are no promising signs is irrational.

Patience shouldn't involve lying to ourselves. We can see what's in front of us.

This was why I said earlier that I wasn’t worried when Clarke started. You could see we were trying to do things. There’s nothing with moore. Absolutely nothing.
I’ll be honest, I was concerned about after his first post game interview. The warning signs were there. But now the sensible fans have turned as well, it’s only a matter of time.
I’ll say the same thing I said before we appointed Moore. I just hope we have a proper recruitment process and not brag about not doing interviews like the last two times. I honestly believe if we had, and not just gone for a known name, he wouldn’t have got the job (though it felt like fans needed placating last time). We could have appointed the guy who is currently top of the league.

Where's your evidence? You're just spouting made up rubbish. We could all do that if we wanted to.

Some….i never wanted him in the first place, can’t understand why we gave someone a 5 year contract after how they performed at Huddersfield.
