Agree with you that DM can't do anything with these bottlers.  Not even God could do anything with this lot.  They need to look at the horror video and understand where it went wrong.  However, some of his subs have been dubious over the past few games - but is that down to only have dross on the bench.

Sat back to far.  Didn't track runners.  Didn't tackle.  Defence and midfield just let the opposition walk through them.  DM can only tell them what he wants them to do - then the players cross the line and seem to forget everything. 

Patrick, you need to speak to mum and say - Mum forget championship ready we are going out of the league with these players next season.  Not a chance we can bounce back into Div 1 like you think we will.  Not even mummy is rich enough to do that.

Lost probably 5000 away fans today with Stockport and Wrexham coming up. Wednesday look like going down now too.
Harrogate Accrington Salford Crawley etc. Oh dear oh dear. We'll lose over a million quid with relegation. 

Mansfield look like joining them as well.

Can someone please explain why he didn't bring Loft on. The man who has put a shift on every game and caused problems for defenders.

I suspect the halftime talk was all about keeping their shape defensively and defending the box. What it ended up as was old fashioned attack vs defense.  Moore does seem to be instinctively negative. When Uche came off we were crying out for someone to hold the ball up but Loft is clearly on the naughty step. Dipepa struggles to do a full 90 but was kept on all game. 

I do wonder if Moore has lost the dressing room, or if he ever really had it. Whatever the plan was at halftime the players didn't look like they believed in it. After the substitutions at the end it was clear there was no plan. Still he was the clear fan's favourite on the message boards so I guess we got what the majority of us wanted.

Yeah yeah yeah yeah whatever, what's more important is you should be thinking of all the money we saved by not signing any league standard strikers for 3 consecutive windows. That's the real success story here.

Moore has very quickly proven to be a dreadful appointment. Yes, he inherited a woeful squad but his tenure has shown no signs of improvement or even hope.

Understandable sentiment after today's shambles but wrongly directed.

Darren Moore has been in charge of the team for exactly 2 months today.

He entirely inherited the squad of players he has had to manage and he has had no opportunity to change those personnel.

Darren and his coaching staff's organisation of the team set-ups has noticeably improved a number of the performances - as in the first half today.

And then the weakness in mentality which runs through much of this squad makes them crumble in the face of pressure and entirely lose their way - as in the second half today.

There is no manager in the world who can succeed if his players completely let him and themselves down, as they did today.

Whatever happens this season, including if it is the worst, Darren and his staff get a clean slate from me for next season.

I want to see what they can achieve with largely their own choice of players and that is the basis on which I will then judge their efforts.

How can we be far and away the better side in the 1st half, and deservedly 2 nil up at half-time and on course for a much needed 3 points, but come out for the 2nd looking like a half-cut Sunday League pub side, who’ve just had a doner kebab each in the dressing room, instead of an orange and a spray of ralgex? What do they do all week in training? The mind boggles.
