@MBE I agree with a CB if possible. I guess you could also potentially add Deklan Wynne as the second LB if he signs (perhaps a more natural choice than Hall too).

I suspect Wynne might fill the LB berth, at the end of the day how many very good left backs are there in the 4th tier? Probably not too many I'd wager, as for one less people are naturally left handed/footed so it stands to reason it can be a problematic area.  Few teams will have particularly outstanding right wingers either

That's not saying it's a position to neglect but I think we could cope with a combination of Hart/Wynne for the most part as long as the rest of the defence is pretty solid and we are scoring goals at the other end.

Not used to this, great players signed up so early and the team taking shape.  The last day deadline wait wont be the same.

I think Hall would make a good LB. Still have visions of him marauding forward as a LCB and taking a ball out of the sky and controlling it dead.

I know we are spending cash but I'm sure we still have a budget adherence and using Hall as cover would be smarter IF we get another CB.

Never seen Wynne play but I thought he appeared to be an odd signing last season. The fact he is still here as a trialist and we haven't already sign him up for this season doesn't fill me with any hope he is going to be better than Hall at LB as cover.

I thought Hart had been brought in for that role?

I thought the same. Surely he’s the first choice left back as it stands? We don’t have another natural left back on the books do we? 😆 I don’t want be seeing hall etc shifted over there. We’ve seen enough of that stuff the last 2 seasons
