Chislett been poor since the start of the year.

You also do not know what his attitude is like in training either.

I have been really disappointed with Chislett's attitude on the pitch since Christmas especially when he think's he can just fall over to win free kicks

He still has a good return though. He hasn’t been great and I agree re the free kicks but he’s the best of our choices at the moment. Shocker from Moore on Monday subbing him for weir.

What's his stats been since the turn of the year?

You can not live on past achievements. How many games do you have to keep giving and giving someone if he's not producing ?

Personally I don’t think that Plant or Clarke have done much for us this season even when fit. I think before we started people were excited by the signings of Sang, Clarke and Grant. But none of them have done well as wing backs IMO. We’ve had a stinker in recruitment in that area, an area that let’s not forget is key to how we setup and play. None of them are that decent defensively IMO.

Aside from the first half Saturday, I can’t remember Chisletts last good game, people might say he’s scored this many goals and got this many assists, but for me he’s been out of form for months and hasn’t warranted a place.

We'll agree to disagree. Chislett is second top goalscorers and top in assists. In a poor team. Say no more

I didn't mention Clark in my post

I think Planty has done ok in an unfamiliar role,in his first full season. Much better than Grant or Sang. I'd go as far to say that Shorrock has had more impact than either of them.

To be fair to Sang and Grant they are not fullbacks or wingbacks, but neither is Plant . Suppose it demonstrates the mess DF created and Moore is having to sort .

I still think he’s creating more than the other options. That isn’t great granted. But I don’t think now is the time to drop our 2nd top scorer / player with most assists. When the alternative is someone like Weir, Chislett for me has to start

I wasn’t replying to you about Clarke, I quoted another post not yours.

So you think Chislett is deserving of a place despite not doing anything this year? I don’t.

Shorrock is nowhere near ready yet IMO. Plant has had no impact.

I Agree and definitely made us worse and it could probably drive Chislet away from us in the summer

Stockport are going well, but I do take your point about signing the right type of player. Having said that Money seems to be working far better than the Process.

Totally agree, get the right players and you have success.  You have to trust the manager and the recruiting team to get it right most of the time.  Oh to have the money to buy a striker who can score on a regular basis.  🤣

It might have made us worse  for the Northampton game, but I wouldn’t be worried about driving players away just because they’ve been subbed, it’s part of the job, he has to live with that.  But on the balance of things since the turn of the year he’s offered us very little. He needs to up his game and that’s a lesson he needs to learn.

So it looks like it's the last we have seen of Wilson in a Vale shirt now,so it's back to the old striker hunt,we will have Loft and Dipepa(unless a big bid comes in) so dependant on how he wants to play next season we are going to need 3 more strikers in that's for sure

We are not going to have 5 strikers on the books in League Two next season. Two more at the most the club will sign

Plant should be playing further up the pitch

No way is he a wing back , He's an attacking player who can score goals but is being asked to play in a position LWB

Which doesn't suit his game, imo 🤔
