We will be going down as the squad is bottlers, no good, what more can you say after saturdays 2nd half collapse.  Oh yes phenomenal, championship ready and all those good fraudcroft quotes.

To be fair those 2 quotes were direct from our Chairperson herself

I noticed that the number 25 Alli who ripped us a new one on saturday with his pace and 2 goals was signed by them from Halifax in January,so it shows you can certainly pick up players from the National League

We obviously got the wrong one from Halifax with dozy Debbie.

IF we were actually in for Smith at Sheff Wed i cant see him dropping to League 2 now

I wouldn't mind us trying to pinch the experienced Smith from Salford, getting on now but would continue to score in League 2 imo,not mobile really but always seems to be there and is about 7 foot 10 🙂

I think we will be looking more at those who have done it in League 2 now

We need to ditch as many as we possibly can though for starters

I dunno, but this charming man just hopes for a similar ending to the last one we had in League 2 because heaven knows I'm miserable now.

I have no inside knowledge what so ever but i still fully expect Carol will want to give it a go next season even if that means breaking the wage structure at the club like we need to do to attract decent strikers for starters

Flying pigs and platting fog springs to mind with the recruitment bunch we have at the club.  How can we get players (loan) and not actually see them play on match days.  Oh yes they were so called injured and went back to their clubs.  The players they did bring in spend more time chatting to the medical teams than playing.

We have too many players contracted next season that should be wearing stripped jumpers and masks as they are stealing wages from the club.  The better players will be snapped up and gone no doubt.

I do hope DM has a good say in getting rid of the players he does not want and the players he brings in.  But not sure our budget will be big enough to pay the robbers off and get new better players.  But this is Vale after all and you just never know.

Not as if we will be able to listen to them play on ifollow any more unless sky do something after the EFL sold the fans out.

A wage structure is a hindrance especially when it comes to strikers.

2 players who can't score goals on 2.5k a week each or one that can score goals on 5k. I know which I'd prefer.

I just get the feeling that they’re probably all on roughly the same. £2.5k-£3k a week. If so not really a wage structure.

This thread is going to be horrific in the summer.

100's of daily posts clamouring for the return of Worrall, Gibbons, Hall, Harratt etc

On the positive side. If we stayed up, we’d just be in another <ovf censored> show of a season because we will be stuck with a bunch of players not good enough for league one for another year.

Harrat would be a massive improvement on our current set of strikers 😬👍
