Shanahan has got us in this mess, spend some money on getting rid of the Dead Wood including the Management Team and start again, the Fans deserve it.

Get a Mickey Adams type manager and let him get all his own players in.

Trouble is, there are not many managers of that type about.

Things can only get better we hope, but the Owner has got to listen to the Fans.

I posted the retained list I wanted to see last month after we threw away a 2-0 lead (I know, it's unheard of right?) against Fleetwood.

One amendment. List Ripley. Sick of him pissing about at the back and then getting into arguments with Smith when he blames the defenders for his own antics.

Was watching the highlights on itv last night and one particular game jumped out at me. Charlton v Cambridge. Charlton changed manager and got an instant response from the squad and jumped up the table, they also had Connor wickham score for them, who was a free agent and they grabbed him after the window shut. Cambridge on the other hand had a change in manager and it looks like Monk has had a response from them and I reckon they’re all but safe. Meanwhile Bonne scored their goal, another striker signed in the jan window. You could argue they’ve also been playing Gibbo regularly too and all these players brought in + changes in manager have benefitted those 2 clubs and it shows if we’d just pushed the boat out for strikers / defensive players we could have made a good fist of trying to stay up. But we’ve gone the other way, recruited a new manager and brought in some bang average signings and we’ve got worse. Absolute disaster of a year.

Someone on twitter seems to think we will spend 500k on a player(striker) 😮 🙂 as investment will be made but not from Carol so the rumours are starting already

I'm beginning to feel an odd sense of relief about this relegation, on the basis that we won't have to see quite a few of these dossers in a Vale shirt ever again.

This isn't like getting relegated from the premier league and being gutted that your team's going to get ripped apart in the summer window. It's the opposite, we can't wait for them to go.

We have got nothing to worry about. The recruitment team work two windows in front so all the new signings are raring to go 🙄

The best 11 of League One this season. Flitcroft probably told Carol we were in for signing each one of these.
