Foyle knows plenty about non league, but we need someone with knowledge of at the least the champ and how to get there. Plus his record of recruitment as a manager was rather dodgy.

I think we need someone without any emotion ties to the club either.

Colin Garlick?

That would be my choice, but if you read some posts, that boat was burnt totally when he left.

Was this due to Carol or Fraudcroft we will never know, but things went well when Colin G. was at the helm.  He had a great knowledge and know how to get the club moving forward.

So that is all Foyle does is scout non-league?

Again, Im going to point this out and ask the question because no one's answered yet but why do people think that Colin Garlick should replace Flitcroft??

It's turning out to be the one of the most bizarre thing's to see people saying it should be Colin Garlick.

If Rudge has some input it will probably be Foyle. Certainly a nice guy with a deep love of football.

If part of the job is overseeing the youth development I'm not sure how strong his CV, although he did briefly coach our under 15s. His general recruitment was good for us when he had no money; the bit that went wrong was when Bratt opened the purse strings. Post Vale he's generally had a good track record. Possibly the only person in the game who watches more football than Rudge used to. He'd be much more in the background than Flitcroft.

Foyle stabbed Rudgie in the back. Was well aware of his imminent sacking and went along with it in the knowledge that he would stand to benefit.

How did Foyle stand to benefit?

I believe it was Horton who (allegedly) got stabbed in the back by Foyle and Glover. They were (allegedly) promised the job at the end of Brian Horton's contract. Horton found out he wasn't getting a new contract and left. Foyle was still playing when Rudge left and only profited in the sense he got the job as youth team coach. He took over as manager when Horton left.
