Reading between the lines in Mike Baggaley’s Substack post tonight, I guess the deal to sell has been agreed but the paperwork hasn’t been completed, so the club can’t make a statement yet. As a result, it may be a while before we get anything concrete from the club. No idea how long these things take, but I’m presuming there won’t be an official announcement until everything is signed and sealed.

Ive never once called for her to sell up and anyone calling for that is a little bit silly.

My anger lies firmly with the footballing decisions of David Flitcroft.

Because of him we will be playing Newport next season instead of a potential potteries derby.

The clown still hasn’t got a free agent striker in. 
If she isn’t done with him in the coming weeks, she is making the worst decision in her entire business life.

Carol and Kevin aren't from Burslem but have done so much for us, but it's never good enough for some.

Someone on here posted she looked like a demented seal clapping the lads off on Saturday. Grow the fk up. Crocodile tears after Saturdays video, and this is mild compared to the abuse on other mediums. Hang your heads in shame.

If this rumour is true then Carol and Kevin have worked hard for it and fully deserve the money made.

Carol has said in the past she wants to leave a legacy, I personally think with everything she's done for the local community she has already done that and doesn't need the Vale to leave a bigger legacy in the community , especially with the money she can now spend (if rumours are true) helping others, if she chooses.

However I also believe that she may look at the Vale as unfinished business and want to finish her plan and she seems a determined and focused person and hopefully after a tough few months still has the passion for the Vale to perhaps one day lead us to the Championship.

For those who are hoping that the Shanahans spend a load more of their money on the Vale, how would they do this? We'd still be stuck with only being able to spend 60ish % of income on the football side, wouldn't we? We can't even hope for some dodgy MCFC style OTT sponsorship deal now that Synectics is sold.

She employed him though at the end of the day, and still fully stands by him regardless of his ineptness.

When does the club issues statements about things like this.  Normally only the toilets are broke, bring a bucket if you want a half time wee.

Hopefully they may do as they are a main sponsor.  You never know the new company taken over may sponsor the Vale.  Stranger things have happened - Vale one day may actually get a striker who can score.  😉
