Probably be most of these.

GK coach Adriano Basso (Brazilian keeper, oh christ...)
Coach Jimmy Shan
Assistant manager Jamie Smith

Bloke on the right is a set piece coach, Simon Ireland. Not sure if that'd be a bit extravagant at league one level.

Large

That little lot won't come cheaply.

I was a big advocate that Crosby was out of his depth. But this treasure trove we have found for Moore and his staff.

If only we'd of invested in a striker we might be mid table ish. We'll never know.

But this will cost us a pretty packet.

I've been debating with myself whether to post the following or not. It will most probably get laughed off & ridiculed,  based on me not being willing to name the source of the information. But I've decided to post it, based on the fact that I'm more confident it could be true with us getting Darren Moore on a 5 x year deal. It correlates with the information I was told a few weeks ago.

For clarity, I've been told 2nd hand by somebody who isn't a Vale fan & has absolutely no reason to make this up. This person was told in relative detail by somebody I'd class as a very strong source of information re Vale.

Long & short without going into super length of detail, Carol is closing in on some kind of game changing deal from a financial perspective. Apparently the family are on the verge of a huge windfall & Carol plans to spend money & leave a big legacy at the Vale & in Burslem as a whole. When I say huge windfall, we're talking multi millions putting Carol & the family in a different stratosphere to the one they are currently in. Apparently, this should all come about in the next 12 months, at the latest.

Only time will tell, but I thought I'd share. This is a forum after all & it's something I'm interested to find out if anybody else has heard anything about?

Could it be that we're on the verge of something special. Could explain why Carol is so keen to keep hold of the ownership & answer some of the questions re external investment.

One to discuss...

It would be nice if there was something in it mate,it would be nice just to be a bit more competitive in the market

Maybe this is one of the things she discussed with Moore as he did talk about her future plans for the club..... I just guess we have got to wait and see

Interesting that Steve Evans has today signed a contract extension with Stevenage but only after saying other clubs were after him.

Tends to suggest he was perhaps interviewed by us but turned down in favour of Moore perhaps?

Given his record other clubs would obviously be “interested” but the fact he’s signed an extension with Stevenage probably tells us a bit more about the level of any interest.

Yes I know, my post was a bit tinge in cheek, I wasn’t supporting bratt in the slightest.

I got that fella, dunner werrit 😁

Also, as Jean intimated above, it was widely acknowledged than Glenn remortgaged his house to raise the £50k to join the board.

As much as I whinge about things, we've come a long, long way since those days.  Oh to have Dean Glover back in charge!
