Thanks mate I walked past earlier and couldn’t work out who it was running with Dan Jones.

Personally think it would be shame to lose Carlo Nash. I think he’s a very good GK coach.

Had no problem with Nash myself either.  Probably best for a clean sweep though and let him bring his own team in if the money is available as I’m sure Moore and his 4 backroom team will be a lot more than Schofield Dunn and Nash?

Jamie smith would be assistant manager. Jimmy shan first team coach then basso as goalkeeper coach then they also take Simon Ireland with them and he’s a set piece coach. Not sure if we will bring him in also? Prob announced later today.

It is a covid driven recession also hit by the high inflation from the wars.

Nothing to do with Brexit.

Governments' own reports say otherwise.  We are 7% down.  Thats a massive loss when others are driving forward.  We are now officially in recession.

Having said that, politics is on another tread,  Can we keep this about the manager

Just been told Carlo Nash is leaving today.  He's gutted and doesn't want to go but Moore bringing in his own team and he understands how it all goes in football.

Expect the new backroom staff to be announced later on then mate or tomoz. Can’t see them going into Saturdays game without it being revealed

Probably be most of these.

GK coach Adriano Basso (Brazilian keeper, oh christ...)
Coach Jimmy Shan
Assistant manager Jamie Smith

Bloke on the right is a set piece coach, Simon Ireland. Not sure if that'd be a bit extravagant at league one level.

We definitely need help around our set pieces. They’re dreadful 🤣

Yes, all 4 did.

Smith has been his assistant at Doncaster, Sheff Wed and Huddersfield, and met him at WBA where Smith was the U21 manager and DM started his career as an U18 coach there.

GK coach Basso was with him at Wed and Hudds.

Shan was with him at WBA and Hudds. He got the manager job at Kidderminster, Solihull and was then assistant at Rochdale while DM was at Doncaster and Wed.

Ireland was at Wed and Hudds. He was previously the assistant at Forest with Karanka, and before that head of coaching at QPR and U21 manager at Brighton. Good pedigree if he comes in too.

Interesting that Steve Evans has today signed a contract extension with Stevenage but only after saying other clubs were after him.

Tends to suggest he was perhaps interviewed by us but turned down in favour of Moore perhaps?

I think he means in terms of the style of football mate 😅 we ain’t gonna be blowing teams away & scoring lots of goals. We don’t have the quality to do that. This is going to be a grind but a battle I fully believe we will win. In Moore we trust 💪🏻

Ahhh I see now 😎, thanks for explaining it to me ,I'm old infirm and a bit of a thickie... well that's my excuse lol 🤣.I hope he does change the style of play it's been putting me to sleep these last few months ...but at my age that could be a good thing 😴😉😬🤣

Makes sense they’ll follow. I liked Nash also but can’t help that these boys will be far better equipped than the likes of Dunn & Schofield 😂 feeling positive about this
