Shrewsbury (A) match thread 25th Nov

Bit disappointed to see Ojo still in the back 3. Yes he’s done well there but for me he’s our best midfielder so should be playing there. And the games he’s played at centre half he’s not really been tested.

Its ok in a pinch but we’ve got actual centre halves sat on the bench. Reeks of Brad Walker playing great against Carlisle who didn’t lay a glove on us all game, who then kept his place and was awful defensively against teams who actually tried to attack.

I think Debrah is incredibly unlucky not to start based on the last couple of games. Lowe also did well prior to his brief period on the treatment table. Not sure who will play in the holding role, I assume Arblaster with Chislett alongside him. It could be Sang with either Devine or Chislett on the left.

Sang will be lwb with massey on the right. I'd guess Arblaster & devine to play as the two, with gazza & chizzy in behind uche 🤷🏼‍♂️

No harm keeping Debrah fresh for the next game?

I'd rather see Ojo in midfield but he's in a different league to Brad Walker. Not too sure what kind of threat Shrewsbury offer upfront,  maybe the extra mobility of Ojo will be an asset.
