Middlesborough H EFL QF Tickets/Crowd

Fleetwood, Crewe, Sutton, Mansfield and Middlesbro and none on telly. 4 of those games were under lights and the prize money is pants. As I said earlier biggest home game in our history and £25 is about right in my view. Dozens of EFL clubs in our position would be charging closer to £40.

For balance I went to Wimbledon v Bradford last week. 27 quid for league 2 football. Oxford I think was expensive for a 3 sided ground at 26 quid.

I understand about the concessions upsetting folk with families as life is hard af the minute. But a quid extra for adults is more than reasonable. This is a once in a lifetime moment to reach a cup semi final.

We've made diddly squat so far in this competition . Surely we'll sell this out. Its a massive game. Absolutely huge. We've a punchers chance of history.

Would have liked to have seen the club be a bit more creative in ticket pricing for families.

Families, like every one else, have had the chance of cheap tickets in every round up to now - and the attendance figures suggest they haven't been interested.

Will be driving up from darn sarf with a carload of mates who've never been to the Wembley of the North before. They don't blink at paying £25 for a ticket, since they support bigger clubs.   Have told them to bring their boots just in case the injury crisis has worsened and we're down to fielding anyone with a pulse and 2 neurons on the night.  (Lardies need not apply since the neurons requirement excludes them).   Should be home by 2am on Wednesday 20th if the traffic is kind.  Can't wait. UTV.

Over the years Vale fans or football fans have never failed to surprise me .

We will sell out this game regardless of whether folk can or cannot afford go then we will never see them again till next big major match .

You only have to look at Stoke in Premier sell outs weekly in Championship a lot lower crowds .

How did we ever get the numbers in v Spurs 2-1 Arsenal 1-1 and Everton 2-1 v man City 8000 away followers yet we only had 5500 most home games that season .

Port Vale quarter finalists sells and if doesn't I'd be first one admit it and look a right plonker .

Regardless of price get in .

Folk will come

And rightly they should .

Well said. Those are the prices, get on with it and stop trying to run the club.

Is that the same community though who didn't bother at £15 on Saturday? The same community who haven't bothered with this competition so far despite heavily-reduced prices? Vale do heaps for "the community" but it can't be run purely for their benefit.

Plus, we have stuck just £1.00 on match-day prices - and frankly if people can't find that with 6 weeks to plan for it, I suspect they weren't going anyway!

Imagine how people would cope if we got to the final.

So you are you're saying is the club might as well charge £25 because people aren't going to bother to turn up?

Well done to Burton Albion for their sensible pricing of the FA Cup replay.
Yes, and the Vale have agreed to those prices, as in all cup matches the clubs have to agree on the ticket prices. For all us supporters know the Vale may have wanted to have lower ticket prices and Middlesbrough objected
