Seems a bit strange. Surely a club can release a players contract whenever they want to?

He left in June apparently and was set for a medical in late August at Wycombe although no idea why that move didn’t materialise.

Other than the Turkish FA confirming his player registration had been relinquished can’t see how it would be a problem when he was released.

Wilson out for 8 weeks+ so i doubt we will be seeing him in a Vale shirt again,with us only signing him until Jan allowing him to try and prove himself and his fitness

Where's bob the knob at? Wilson out till at least mid December. We all know how slow he is to come back from an injury even more so after being out for 2 months! Still think he will play for Vale again do you 🤔 Grant looking a massive risk now as well after missing all of last season pretty much injured & looked well off the pace so far & now back in the treatment room.

I know I was very vocal on here about not wanting to re-sign Wilson, but I'm honestly gutted for him.

8 weeks for Wilson and Grant takes us right up to the busy xmas period. I doubt they’d be then be up to playing in consecutive games yet when we get to that stage. I think we’ll be in the market for a striker and wing back come January.

True but it has to be before the transfer window closes.

Grant and Wilson are both talented players but proven crocks. We have brought this on ourselves.
