Blimey, I realise after the above two comments, I look a real pessimistic Charlie.  I'm not really.  Since the Barnsley game, it's been a brilliant turnaraound.  Congrats to all.  Please keep it going!

Yes but we all know we never do things easy 🤔UTV  VTID

I know.  As a PV fan for more years than I care to mention, that's why I've got no hair!!

🦖🦖you and me both then ?

Difficult game this as we all know we normally gift the teams we are 'supposed' to beat. Normally after we've put a rocket up a team we aren't supposed to perform against.
This is a big game (as they all are) to show where we are at with the mentality of the lads, do we gift, or do we perform, professionally and with assurance.
I think the later tbf. These lads have it about them and have shown us that already, even tho it's still early doors.

Not too many changes. I expect Thomas to start the home games over Wilson.

Depending on fitness I think it'll be pretty much the same unless Clark starts ahead of Sang at RWB.

It'll be a different test...one where we are probably favourites. I'd like to be greedy and get 3 points. If we do then 10 points from the last 4 games would be excellent.

I completely expect Ojo and Massey to be world beaters in EVERY game from now on, especially when I was picked up by certain posters for merely praising their improved performances lately....

Yes, we have a good goalkeeper as well. When we haven't got a good goalkeeper and don't play well these games get lost 1-0 or 2-0 etc. When we have got a good goalie a poor performance can still dig out a result.

I come to Holy. My Tranmere friends thought he was poor when he played for PV at Prenton Park. I've not used a more colourful adjective. But we must shoot and shoot and shoot against this guy.

They've just signed a new striker on loan from Fulham, Terry Ablade. Despite the name he's Finnish.

It will be interesting to see how our midfield combats Carlisles.

They have some decent players ... Guy, Moxon, Mellish and Gibson.

He's no finish
He's only 21

Big test, no easier than any of the others and we will have to be on it, they will be desperate for points after a slow start and we will have to adapt to being favourites and taking the initiative more.

5 games of the next 6 are at home so a great chance to try and build positive momentum, a win here and already 20% to safety would be a great start and set us up nicely for a run of fixtures (Oxford aside) where we will be favourites.

Notice Ellis was training yesterday as someone put an image on the Vale facebook pages of their kid with Ellis, Grant and Arblaster so this weekend may answer a lot about his future or if it was just a knock.

Got to watch Moxon who is clearly highly rated but hopefully a positive result to keep the feel good factor going.

He's only 21
Hope he doesn't cut through our defence like a knife,
