Managerial merry-go-round

They’ve had enough managers who haven’t succeeded. The law of averages says that they can’t all be bad. It’s the club run by individuals who don’t know what they’re doing and believe that throwing money at the problem is the answer. There’s an old Greek saying,

’if you throw money at a problem, then you haven’t thought the problem through’.

The common thread to these unsuccessful managers are the owners. That’s the problem, they don’t know how to recruit properly. Who allows a manager to buy players and then relieve him of his duties, within a couple of weeks of the season starting and days before the transfer window closes.
Then more importantly the smaller club in the City based in the north start becoming successful and doing things properly.

COYW.

Rooney - possibility

Potter - highly unlikely

Benitez - no chance

Wilder - very doubtful

Big Sam - maybe.

Dyche, unfortunately, would be a good fit.

Your being a bit generous there. There is not a even a 1% chance Stoke could get Rooney and even less of a chance to get Potter. Got Dyche’s name all over it - hope they don’t get him though. Would love them to try another Nathan Jones appointment

I don't see Rooney getting a Premier League job, unless Lampard gets the boot at Everton. So that lot down the road are as good as Shrek is likely to get.

Why not Potter?  Ex-player, must count for something?

Anyway, the interview should be straightforward, they’ll just need the candidates to demonstrate polishing a 7urd

Rooney has not long just gone over to the MLS hasn’t he at DC United? Doubt he’d even give it a second glance.

Don’t know about anyone else but I was a huge admirer from afar of the job Paul Lambert was doing there. He’ll have them right where they belong in no time.

Played a grand total of 45 games for Lard. He played more for Macc.

Well ran progressive Premier league club who regularly mix it with the big boys

Or basket case Championship club with 5 managers in 5 years, wallowing in self pity because they think its their divine right to be in the Premier.

The clowns on Bloatcake have mentioned him along with Benitez and Pochettino. Best laugh I've had for a while.

There has been a rumour for a while that Speedy will retire next year.  Please note that this is a man in the pub type rumour, so take that as you will.  I will add that this is as in the real man in the pub rather than the imposter who posts on here.
Ha ha, fake man in the pub here. Speedy probably going as next manager, which half decent manager would take on that poison chalice.
