I know Jacko says its not true but I heard it from the horses mouth. Askey did not want to sign McKirdy. Maybe someone who knows Askey can confirm this too. It only begs the question, who signed him if Askey didn't want him? Rudge bought him into the club to train and I know that is a fact as well. I'm not in the habit of making stuff up but if Jacko wants to make out I'm a liar then that's fine but I know what was said in the conversation I had with McKirdy.

I wasn't doubting you WV, just pointing out because i named McKirdy that Lancy asked me for proof.

Obviously i have no proof, neither have i a reason to doubt you as you have never waivered.

Saying that, he does look like he would be a very useful addition 

We could be having an Assistant Manager as well as a First team Coach.  As a development club many coaches will be needed.

Would have thought the club would have wanted Pugh as Assistant manager given their comments about him earlier. Still on paper a good appointment though

Pugh is not listed as the Assistant Manager on the Club site.

He must be toxic to be left out of a squad with 6 mostly <ovf censored> strikers and only a couple of injury prone wide men at the club.

Plenty of experience though, both as player and assistant manager (including numerous promotions and play-offs as both), having been no.2 to Nigel Adkins at his various clubs.

If true, Clarke is obviously evaluating the coaching setup, in addition to the playing squad, as he said that he would.

Clarke said he would be making a lot of changes over next couple of weeks which will help in where he wants to be,looks like if he does come that we might get a couple of irish loans in next season

If it is Crosby then surely people cant moan at someone with his experience coming in to replace Pugh,can they??? if so i would love to know why

Also notice that Billy Paynter is still listed as 'PDP Lead Coach', along with Griffith.

And that Chief Scout is 'TBA' so can probably expect an appointment on that in the near future?

Not calling you a liar at all mate.  That's just not what was said in a conversation I had with Rudgie.  It was the manager's decision.  Someone is telling porkies but I don't think it's either of us.
