Oh no. Pope tapping it straight at the keeper unmarked 3 yards out will be on football howler compilations. Unbelievable he didn't score. I think it was the startle factor of the defender playing him on as he seemed miles off.

He's now buried a great, difficult to score header...but was judged offside this time!

That miss from Pope is absolutely horrific, Jesus Christ what was he thinking / rather not thinking.

 

They then get back in the game and are mullering us.

 

Oh and what consecutive managers see in Kay I don’t know, he was so late for his caution it was almost tomorrow afternoon, still like our other ‘senior’ players he’s good at ignoring his own faults and pointing and telling others what to do.
