Or is that Gorman saying to them I have approached them and they said no, when he actually has not. Gorman needs to prove to the fans he has, as Gorman has done this sort of thing before and been caught out. Made promises and said things and they have been proved wrong.

People can spout all the player and manager names they like but you can’t make someone come here if they don’t want to.

Harry Kewell is really the only option left for Norman.

He won’t pay Askey a decent salary and only until the end of the season because he says the fans may not like him.Kewell is desperate to get back into Management and work for the Evil One for peanuts on a short term contract.Before anyone suggests Steve Evans he would want 200k and loads of money to spend on the team. Norman would have a heart attack if he had to pay that sort of money.

But how do you know what has been offered to Askey? The fans only like people that it seems are out of our reach for one reason or another.

There is only one sensible name and local man to take on the manager's role and who's reputedly been offered the job in the past, but the main problem for any potential candidate is the owner whose track record is not just well below par, it's disgraceful and he needs to move on asap for the club to stand any chance of salvaging a future in the Football league. The task, only then, maybe a little easier without the chairman interference that's clearly and sadly ruining the club.
