  1. The Silkmen are on the verge of extinction after 145 years (founded 1874) They have played at the Moss Rose ground since 1891. The owner has run out of money and the potential buyer appears to be a charlatan Silkmen hardship fund
  2. David Fitzpatrick from Macc town? Quality left back
  3. SJA will not be tempted away from Vale. He learned a lesson when he went to Shrewsbury. I thought we would be higher up the league at this point, but still expect automatic promotion. Go get em John
  4. We'll be playing Stoke City next season. Have faith. SJA is a superman.
  5. SJA = Automatic promotion We will finish above Crewe. Probably win the league.
  6. He will get us to the play-offs by the end of the season. Keep the faith.
  7. Macclesfield players have not been paid for September https://www.skysports.com/football/news/36067/11826424/macclesfield-town-players-and-staff-not-paid-september-wages https://fansonline.net/macclesfieldtown/mb/view.php?id=195480
  8. Think your blood pressure may take a pounding. I am confident we will at least be battling for a play off place. If not automatic promotion. It is just as stressful at the top. 18th place get a life. Vale are going up.
  9. Played 10 matches last season. In my opinion his best position is as a defensive midfielder. He is pants at right back, but a very steady left back. Very quick player who needs more coaching. Very popular with the other players and supporters at Macc.
  10. Not true he is well liked by the Macclesfield squad. The reason he has not signed is he struggles to keep his weight in check . And he is injury prone. Otherwise a very likeable lad. Rumoured to have been offered a new contract at Macc, but performance related to keeping his weight down.
  11. The important thing is what we spend the money on. Not how much there is. SJA has a good record of unearthing players on free transfers or for small fees. And turning them into effective team players. In fact he does is best work when he has very limited resources. We only have to look at the club on the dark side of the city. They spent £18.3 million on Imbula. He has played 28 times, since 2015 scored 2 goals and costs them about £ 66,000 a week until his contract runs out in 2021. The bigger the budget the more you have to lose.
  12. I have met Elliott Durrell and his family a few times so would know him if he sat next to me on a bus. He is a very likeable chap. And on his day he is a very exciting player to watch. He scored the goal that kept Macc up last season. Unfortunately he is injury prone. And therefore would be a risky signing. He reminds me of a lower league Shaqiri, both in build and style of play.
