A very good read and insight how easy it is to make money from a loss making football club (or even a profitable one)

 

the fa / efl as custodians of football should really do more to protect clubs and fans from dodgy owners- what or how this would be implemented I wouldn't know but suppose the prem and fa are just as bad with their noses in the trough

our owner has had more than his money back yet the probable fake directors loans show otherwise, he is on the take and that's all he care about- his pocket, my guess is wildes was the fall guy and part of the plan to smurthwaite getting the club 100% ,everything else after has also been about lining his own pockets.

 

Be great to get an owner like accrington Stanley who gives everything back the club it generates (even don't mind owners getting their money back over a period) and cares about its fans and local community...

One day these rogue owners will realise they cant take their dirty money with them and long after they have gone their legacy will only be looked at with disdain and without pride.

I personally find it unbelievable that a percentage of our entire shrinking fanbase are failing to see that our Club is being run by an unfit person. I'm sick of hearing 'be careful what you wish for etc'. Lets be frank could we have a worse person in charge of Port Vale? I for one am convinced that we couldn't and to be honest perhaps a final close down is more preferable to what devoted Vale fans are being forced to suffer due to their deep passion for Port Vale.

 

Drastic action needs to be taken by hardcore fans if we are going to get rid of this man and his evil actions. Protesting won't work I'm afraid but if we were to have a 100% boycott of Season Tickets then surely this will dislodge our rotten owner from riding on our backs and keep 'milking' our Club.

 

I'm sure he would scaremonger that our budget will be effected but can that really worry us because from what I'm seeing he is putting next to nowt in anyway.

 

Please, please wake up people Smurthwaite is killing Port Vale and giving him your hard earned cash is helping this parasite to keep sucking the lifeblood out of the Club.
