Match Thread; Port Vale v Carlisle United

Let’s put extra security on for this match! We don’t want any idiots on the pitch during or after the game. Ok I am an old guy and only went on the pitch against Spurs, got my legs whacked by a police officer with a stick, never did it again. Understand people want to celebrate at last match but wait until match is over, players are in the press box and we are invited on. We should make an announcement pre-start that we can celebrate with the players 15 minutes after the game is complete. Good on Garlick, we have about 30 thick idiots we need to get rid of fast, let’s all help to do that! We want our club to be free of such idiots let’s do it.

It’s not if we get a points deduction! Vale fans have always gone on the pitch after final game.

Coventry fans have invaded the pitch (both home and away) and held up games on many occasions during their protests against the club owners but have had no sanctions or points deduction as I recall. Not saying that fans should go on to the pitch as there is really no need for it but I doubt we will get a points deduction.

I thought we went on the pitch when we drew at Exeter to go to Wembley ?

Last home game, a better ending than some of us were dreading. Show some thanks to Aspin and the players for that, hopefully some of them will have pushed us up towards the other end of the league in a years time. As for the team cant see many changes, but what do I know? Turner to start?

Would try and win this, maybe a change or two but would like to get to 50 points and finish as high as possible, avoiding our worst season in decades would be a nice achievement if we finish 18th or above and give a positive vibe going into the summer ahead of next season.

Imagine Turner may start so Aspo gets a proper look? Tonge out so maybe that will be the change.

Carlisle’s Draw means they have nothing to play for so imagine they will equally be relaxed.

Either way win lose or draw it won’t matter too much enough to ruin weekends which is a nice change after the past nine horribly stressful months... have to say waking up this morning I felt like I’d lost a tonne of weight with the stress of it off the shoulder.

Spend the last few weeks going over who’s playing who in my head and what need to happen for what!

Love this club too much maybe!
