Will Monty be fit to tackle the Imps? A team with their eyes on a consecutive promotion, unbeaten for 2 months, and maybe buoyed up with a Wembley victory. Really tough game this, although they should bring a fair few to raise the atmosphere, it will not be a game for faint hearts and a big performance is required. From memory Lincoln play a very effective long ball game up to the big strikers and play for knock downs and second balls. We didn’t deal with that at their place.

 

If montano isn’t fit then I don’t want to see Gibbons at left back. That would mean him and whoever goes right back is out of position. Given their physical threat up top maybe we could go 3 at the back and play with wing backs, but even then we have the problem of the left hand side.

If we were playing them on Tuesday night then I would agree, but not next Saturday. They just cut back on the strenuous stuff in training for a few days. Playing a match is worth a fortnights training.

They play 3rd placed Wycombe on the Tuesday while Lincoln themselves are in 6th place. (The games in hand 'might' make a difference.But they would want to play a strong side against Wycombe to get the 3 points, not let Wycombe pull away from them.

Lincoln have only won 7 away of 20 so isn’t impossible for us to win this, a point probably is enough to keep us up anyway.

Lincolns a very good team who know how to win ,something we are incapable of .

Team well id give Turner a go up front .

Im not sure who choose as we have only played for 25 mins at the level we need play for the 90 last 2 games .

Team well Aspin will choose the same team as yesterday i just hope we score and the post doesnt get in our way like yesterday and we get stronger as game goes into last ten minutes where our mental weakness as being coming to the fore and we have being losing very soft goals late on regularly these last few games .

Hopefully there big away following will ignite something in Vale .

Hard to be hopeful after what this seasons efforts have produced .

No the Tuesday after they play Vale.But its potentially a 6 pointer promotion / play off game.So they 'could' be more interested in having as strong a team as possible for the Wycombe game.
