Would agree with that. In a way yesterday was the one we should have won. Barnet are playing better now, would be delighted with a point, this will be a difficult one.
It certainly could be a difficult night, as there's pace in their team!A determined effort from Vale lads is a must.No time for non performers !

On another day I would be saying that we should be playing Gibbons instead of Davis at right back because I don't rate him there. However for the sake of continuity and what I thought was a good overall performance at Grimsby I think we should go with the same starting 11.

My only concern with that is if Pugh, Tonge and Forrester are capable of 2 games in 3 days.

But if any of those didn't play in midfield I wouldn't know who to pick to come in as we just haven't seen enough of the other centre midfielders to make any kind of judgeemnt. Unless Hannant can play there? If Forrester doesn't play then that means Barnett will start.

From what I've seen this season, the actual question is are any of them capable of 1 good game in a season

This game is as hard as we have faced all season,Westley will have them fired up and they will throw the kitchen sink at us.... literaly.

They had 16 attempts at Coventry's goal yesterday and they fly at us from the off, Westley is an evil liitle squirt and he will use every trick in the book to upset us.

The fact they are bottom means nothing and I fear the worst.

The fact that they're bottom says everything for me,they're cack and a patient professional performance from the boys should bring home the bacon.

They've won more recently than us though haven't they? I really have a bad feeling about this game.

Folks, we're playing Barnet, not Barcelona! Much as Vale are capable of getting stuffed a la Cheltenham away they are also capable of winning this and have to be positive and determined, it's no good stepping on to the pitch with a defeatist attitude because all that will result in IS a defeat. I can't see why we can't get something from this game if we turn up with the right attitude and I'll be there expecting to see some determination and effort plus hopefully enough ability to give us a point or three.

UTV.

Play like we did at Grimsby and we have a good chance of getting something from the game. My only concern with our current 11 is how static we are as we play with 3 centre halfs and 2 holding midfielders. We rely a lot on the 2 wingers and the number ten to do all the work. Hopefully they play well again.

The fact that Vale are third from bottom and ten games without a win, say's everything to me.

There are eight useless teams at the bottom of L2 and Vale's main hope of survival is that all the others continue to be useless.

But we cannot rely on them keep losing. Of the bottom teams I see Barnet most likely to string a couple of wins together, luck has deserted them the last few matches. Grimsby was the game we had to win. Bottom or not I feel Barnet will have to much for us, especially pace and Wesley. I do hope I am proven wrong.
