Synetics where are you?

According to the believers on here and facebook Synetics are the saviours in waiting, so just where are they with NS and the club at probably an all time low?

I would imagine they are doing the sensible thing and waiting to see where the club ends up in May. The fate of our league status is now entirely in the hands of the players and staff since no more players can be signed and that status will have a massive bearing on the value of the club. Abnorm had his chance to sell at £1.25m and didn't take it, if we survive he may get another chance, if we don't he'll be looking at something like £1m including the ground, without the ground the club's worth nothing as it has no saleable assets and lots of liabilities.

A non-league Vale is a VERY unappealing purchase.

They won't get involved as Ms Shanahan now works for the Foundation.

In all honesty, I think that ship may have sailed. The club's well and truly shafted.

This is all my assumptions I have no idea; I would just have assumed they'd be ramping up a campaign, considering the club's on death's door, if they had retained interest.

Why don't you ask Carol and Kev yourself the next time you see them?

What difference does working for the foundation make?

A purchaser can't force anyone to sell. Surely the more relevant question is whether the current owner accepts that he needs to sell the club on, makes his intentions public, sets a reasonable price and does due diligence on any purchasers.

Pressure on will not raise without a viable option and pressure is what’s needed on the owner

Ms Shanahan won't/can't make any comments about Smurf in the press, or put pressure on him to sell.

There wouldn't be any backing of protests like Mo did last time. Makes it a lot harder to organise, galvanise, and unite. Also leaves wide open the counter argument of 'who else is there?'.

I'm not saying its fundamental to Smurf selling but it would definitely help.

Somebody needs to buy the club. But just seems like the club is dying a long and painful death. Non-league would kill the club because the crowds would drop emmensly. Running vp would become ever more difficult. Another administrstion and Port Vale would be doomed.
Bristol Rovers came back stronger from it...

First time I've agreed.

Smurf isn't a normal businessman, we can't just wait for him to have the epiphany that £5m is a farcical price and he simply isn't a very good chairman.

Pressure has to be applied, alternatives have to be found. If Synectics are unwilling/unable to support and provide this it makes the task 10x harder.

We agree, but until Norman makes the move as seen in Robf's post above...
