I still think that Purkiss is their weak link, its a pity Montano didn’t want to know in the home game once Purkiss kicked him, might be a different story if someone like Hannant plays that side.

 

Have to disagree, Purkiss became a figure of fun/ scapegoat last season . He isn't actually that bad, amazingly virtual ever present in a side challenging for the play-offs.

On to the game 3-0 defeat lets move on to 3 ' winnable ' games versus Newport, Barnet and Grimsby.

I think his lack of pace can be exposed if we played in behind him or had someone with some pace that can go at him.

Swindle fans on camp are well chuffed with Marc Richards and says at 36 he is playing better than ever. Can only see us being walloped again and Richards have a free for all with our defence and midfield being so nice to strikers.

 

Please Vale prove me and others wrong on the day and win our first game in 2018.

I think we can win when they played at Vale park they come for a 0-0 and went home with a 3-0 thanks mainly to Vale giving them all 3 goals all avoidable and poor to say the least again .

I can only see a good spanking again! So sorry for tbe fantastic traveling Valiants you do the club proud! Shame cannot be said of the players. To get anything out of any game all players need to be at 100% sadly it only happens once in a while.

Well spotted ok no Regis the rest stays the same though im.hoping for a 3 -0 win as dont rate Swindon at all .

I certainly would not expect us to roll over and have our bellies tickled for about ge 20th time this season .
