Worst pitch in league football and the National league

Rochdale are bottom of league one, 11 points off safety.

 

Where are all the 27-29 year old match fit championship players that their chairman should have been paying over the odds for in january?

 

Where was the investment in the pitch for last 12 months to avoid it becoming a national laughing stock and having to be replaced for £500k?

 

I'm sure Rochdale fans are delighted that they've had to spend that money on a bit of grass rather than their squad.

 

Wonder how many of our players would get in their side?-bit harsh comment re-27 yrs olds as they would stuff us and a really nice chairman too -looks a happy camp suppose we can only dream

wouldn't be surprised if spurs have contributed with the pitch cost some where down the line--didn't they wanted it relaying and their (spurs)own ground staff to oversee it as they knew the standard required

Rochdale don't average 4 or 5k every season. Or have their Chairman bragging on twitter about how their commercial dept is breaking all records over Xmas again. Rochdale haven't just received a sell on fee from a previous player.

Come to think of it, wasn't it the Rochdale directors who said their manager was on more money than Page was at Vale.

That’s because it’s been relaid last week. In the last round, it was difficult to distinguish between their pitch and Blackpool beach

Infact it was I believe reported on radio Stoke, when Smurf wanted Askey from Macclesfield, he was already on higher wages in non league than Vale offered

What has the sell on fee got to do with it? Even Rochdales incredible chairman couldn't have done much in the 30 seconds before the transfer window shut?

 

I'd think that Keith Hill was on more money than a brand new manager in his first job.

 

I cannot believe that people are using Rochdale, rock bottom of league 1 having just paid hundreds of thousands on a 2nd new pitch in 2 years as a shining example of what we should be.

 

Are their fans happy to be rock bottom of the league?

But they have played less games due to cup run impacting on their league position , shame we cant say we are as well ran - good solid people that care about their club , have fan days ,sponsorship marketing etc organisation we can only dream about
