Notts County kit clash?

The first of two games coming up where we will have a clash of kits with the home and away against Black and White stripes!

 

Have we resolved this or going to wear the opponents away top as in the past?

 

Maybe use one of the retro ones we are selling?

I'd imagine that they'd use last years maroon and blue 3rd kit.

Would be happy with the 3rd kit from last year, be a lot better than getting that old away kit back out anyway.

I don't know if we are allowed to use last year's away strip as it has last season's sponsor on it.id imagine we would have to get new ones produced with manor shop on the front of it.

I noticed we wore the yellow shorts at Chesterfield and socks so may still have the old shirts for that and just add a transfer with the Manor logo.

Can’t see the problem, it’s either the black away kit or the white home one, there can’t be much more of a contrast between all black and all white.

We’re unlikely to be allowed to wear either, the thing is, the opposition away kit won’t have our current sponsor on either so I would imagine this matter should have been discussed with sponsors at contract time and we should wear an out of date Super Vale Away strip.

I don’t care what it looks like as fashionwear, I don’t like the black away strip for this reason.

We should get a load of the blue Kalamazoo shirts from the club shop.

 

We wore that shirt at County in the second leg of the league cup game in 91/92. Lost on the night, scores level on aggregate, won on away goals after extra time. Later that night (I think) we drew Liverpool away in the next round

Have we not still got that fetching pink set of shirts from 4 or 5 years ago season when the lads wore them for the opening home game against Burnley in the League Cup - might lull County into a false sense of security before their legs get bitten.

 

Failing that, the purple away kit would hardly clash with many teams.

They wear black shorts black and white stripped shirts. An all white kit is fine.

Newcastle isn’t stripes though! And Notts stripes fade on the back so would be a clash. I assumed when Vale said it was sorted that we’d agree both wear away kits when we met both Notts Co and Grimsby to make it fair so will be interesting to see.
