Oxford tickets?

They do take details when purchasing away tickets, I think it’s some sort of legal requirement.

They should be taking them whenever anyone purchases a ticket for a hone game. You can then use the details to contact them with deals etc.

The Oxford game wouldn't have been a bad one to start with. Everyone who wants to go has to buy a ticket.

I bet there isn't many clubs that don't do this. I get more emails from Newcastle, man city etc than vale because I've been one game and had to sign up. I've been god knows how many games at Vale and get **** all from them. I bet they don't even know that after 15 years I haven't renewed my ST.

I think they probably were on sale yesterday, but the point a few people are making is why the ticket office isn’t open after a home game.

Not only were fans not able to buy ticket's for Friday night's game after the match. You can not buy tickets for the game on line at all.The fact being that ticket's are not available to buy on line.Would be more of a reason to have been selling them after the game.It really is pathetic. The people responsible are clueless, useless a total waste of space.I wonder what they actually do all day while at work. Its not as if the ticket office is ram packed full from opening time to closing time every day.As of yesterday there was nothing at all saying anything about tickets for this game can not be sold on line.Is it really so difficult,is it too much trouble to put out some type of notice out to inform fans?

Yes, a complete lack of forward planning.

This now means EVERYONE has to queue for a ticket on Friday.

It also means if you went yesterday but can't go on Friday then you have to make another trip to get a ticket for Newport.

Whatever else is being addressed at the club, the ticket office clearly isn't one of them.

You can phone up and order a ticket and have them posted out to you.But such information is not displayed anywhere. As you say a complete lack of forward planning. But that would depend on how early you order the ticket in time for it to be delivered.Don't know if its sent first or second class.Leave it Tuesday and you might not get the ticket in time.

Very poor but not a surprise.

Needs raising by a regular user as a general ticketing complaint. Maybe it is a question of the economics of paying staff for the extra hours, but how many borderline purchases are lost?

Something as important as this should not have to be raised. The issue should not even exist. It should be standard practice to sell tickets for a match in the next week or two to be on sale after a home game.More so in a situation like this where the club can not sell the cup ticket's on line.

The fan's are already there, ready and willing to part with their money in exchange for a match ticket. Its a captured audience waiting to hand money over but they can't do so.

Agreed, it would soon settle into a pattern on how long to keep the ticket office open, maybe longer for cup matches and popular away games, especially if online facilities are not available.
