Crewe warming up for next week - Chris Porter scores to put them one up against Barnet

Another header by any chance?

Been saying for weeks (since before the start of the season) that I can see us losing to Crewe. Porter will dominate us in the air and win any crosses against our sub-6 foot defence.

IF we do lose to Crewe then you would think that Brown has got to be on very thin ice, early as it is in the season (or at least that should be the case, but Garlick won't be making any such decision and with this owner still dictating the budget its highly unlikely that we'll be paying the manager and coaching staff off, and then employing others - he's shown all along that he simply doesn't believe/understand that paying for a proper manager is the most important decision at any football club).

Close range shot apparently but you're right about his ability in the air.

Crewe will be so confident after our last two results and I can see them giving us a really hard time.

Will re-post what I said after the Leeds game, same stands - Brown does not have a clue!

We did not close down quick enough when Leeds came across the half way line - the whole team were way to sluggish, this improved in the 1st 10 mins of the 2nd half but we were flat on our feet - the side does not look fit enough!

Caught on the break, this was the same last season, we don't have enough willing runners in the middle of the park and we do lack defensive discipline

Our central midfield pairing were far too lazy, they were walked through most of the night (I can understand the final Leeds Mgt comments, we gave away many cynical fouls - largely due to fitness and can't be arsed attitude to tracking runners.

I have to say on the balance, we are far too negative as a side and will get truely punished this season if the WHOLE team does not up it game in terms of work rate without the ball and our lack of runners with the ball.

We'll be no where near the top 6 with the attitude that was on display last night.

You can talk about Leeds being a good team, but it does not take away the fact that we had many too many 'lazy' performances. Hardwork costs nothing, other than the odd deep breath!

If Brown has to go, who the hell makes that decision? Garlick, Fradley ( a puppet chairman) or an absent owner ? Just when you think we have reached rock bottom, further depths are plunged. I thought the times in the late 70's/early 80's were bad, but my God ! It's time for people to stand up, be counted and f*****g earn their money. God I'm angry.

a knee jerk reaction from the heart, *uck off brown and take your "coaching staff" as well...

I had a good feeling about this season, now am back to last season dreading each game, and now we've got cwho who are above us. What's happening to our great club, we're a laughing stock.
