I don't mind effort without sufficient quality but despite Wilson's horror show on Saturday Davis should never have been at right back and ADF should have come on with half an hour to go

Watched a stream second half, decent effort but got caught in a mad two minutes, frustrating though as the lad who scored apparently spat at one of our players at half time... Browny wasn't happy at the end with their staff. Mad Gav gave him some retribution mind.

In perspective, every Championship team through this round, assuming Burton hold on to their lead in extra time. the gap is getting wider especially with the big clubs. But we carry on building.

Vale played well and there were plenty of positives from the game according to the commentators, but Leeds were outplaying them and it shows what you get when Siaz their main threat was bought for £3m.

 

Vale fans there showed their support and did not boo them, so they thought the players put a shift in.

 

We were never going to win the game, but it allowed Brown the chance to get the youngsters some playing time and others to get their fitness up. Looking forward to Saturday, where it matters. Getting out of the Div 2.

I will wait to hear what those who went say instead of the doom and gloomers tbh,going off the fans at the end it seems they feel the team played their heart out and gave it a go

 

I was there... Forrester and Pyle and Gunning all played well. Davies was poor but played out of position. Only slight worry is the legs In midfield. I saw enough first half to see that we aren't a bad side at all. Leeds are a very good champioship side.

No idea where Wilson was.

Talktalk commentators said we were just up against a much technically and physically superior side. The two areas they picked out as weaknesses were right back and midfield, though they did say Tonge was a class above and would be massive for us this season. They also commented on Pyke's speed and strength and spoke well of Smithy at the back.

 

Disappointing result and let's hope it doesn't dent our confidence. Roll on Satdee and another bruiser at centre forward for Smith and Kay to subdue. UTV.

About what I expected really, Leeds are a strong side now compared to where they were a year or so ago, plus we didn't have all our best players in the side and we lost the keeper at ht. The pluses are we should get a few quid from the 15,000+ gate and we don't have any league cup distraction as per usual for us with our woeful record in the competition. I just hope Gunning doesn't turn out to become known as Gormless Gav given he's already living up to his reputation by getting booked twice and sent off in his first two games! Saturday is far, far more important to us than this game ever was.

Calm down, yewth - we're away to a championship side. Gunning played well Satdee and tonight according to Talktalk. We may have a problem though at right back but too early to tell. UTV
