Garlick came from Rochdale where they knew how important the manager is, this experience will have a huge bearing on the appointment I'd guess, that and how much we'll be able to pay.

Every man and his dog thinks we should have thrown 2/3 players up front in the last 20 mins saturday.....

 

Stoke had no decent forwards in the prem yet their centre halves bagged 20 goals one season, you adapt your game plan to your available players not a square peg round hole scenario. Knowing we were crap up front why not practice corners/set pieces all day then hope we can pinch one off the 4/5 we seem to get per game.

But he's gash, nothing changed from when Bruno left and he started, we didn't even have the 'new manager' syndrome. I'd have expected something but we got absolutely no change whatsoever, in fact it got worse.

 

Get someone in as soon as possible and give them the summer to get used to the club, if they're already from the lower leagues they'll know the drill outside of the club.

 

Only downside is the retained list and the huge spanner in the works with the club being up for sale.
