Who exactly are you blaming for that?

It's probably more what than who, Brexit negotiations still at the forefront and will be for a long time, the now forthcomming election, Scotland's movers and shakers playing the bagpipes again, major companies considering their future in the UK etc.

What turmoil the UK is in, and still no 350m to the NHS. Ridiculous.

.... in much the same way as each UK household is NOT £4300 worse off. Not much any of us can do about it other than wait and see.

Labour reckon Theresa is rigging democracy by calling an election?

Democracy?? What's that ?? As I have said before the whole system is corrupt and it will take something along the lines of the Arab spring to restore proper democracy in this corrupt country. My grandkids school is a part time school and a full time polling station due to this constant fiasco we think is democracy !

I can see good arguments about this being opportunistic in various ways. But in the end Brexit needs a strong nation and strong competent leadership. It is the right decision to shoot the foxes in Labour, SNP, UKIP etc with a new democratic mandate.

Is it not the foxes in the stable that are the problem?

There is an absence of stable opposition, demising parties, anarchists, loons. It is a sort of 80s rerun. Conservatives who are capable of heading off on an unduly right wing agenda opposed by a left wing fruitcake et al.

The loons are threating to do the usual thing of pumping more money into everything and not explaining how they are going to fund it?

In local government it is a statutory requirement that a balanced budget is set annually. In the 1980's losses due to wilful misconduct arose from the failure to set a local tax rate in Liverpool. The militant tendency councillors involved were surcharged for the losses and 47 disqualified from office including Derek Hatton. In London Ken Livingston and John McDonnell were causing financial mayhem at the Greater London Council.

In national government the tax regime and macro economics allow much more creative accounting and robbing future generations by borrowing for current spending. That is inter generation theft.

But aside from this it looks like Macron will be elected in France. Although a European supporter he acknowledges there must be significant change in the EU. So with competent negotiation and diplomacy the forces of change may be present to get a good outcome for everyone. The divisive need to be sidelined and the Labour, SNP and UKIP in particular qualify as such. I can accept the Lib Dems hold a consistent view point as an opposition, albeit not mine.

Can you give us a ukip prediction again please.
Don't know about a prediction this time but I can state a fact...the majority of those that voted UKIP last time in Stoke on Trent North will now vote TORY along with the 10500 tory voters from before.

Labour want to water Brexit down to the weakest point yet most people around here (70%) voted to be completely free of the EU

Guess what...I'm voting tory

Can't see UKIP getting a seat, Labour will lose about 10% of their seats, with Liberal and Conservatives gaining those seats. In Scotland the SNP should stay about the same with Conservatives doing well with Labour doing naff again.

That's my prediction.

Perhaps it is going to be financed by director loans ?

Less of the loons though if you want your argument to be taken seriously and don't want to sound like a reptilian.
