5 to play

1

Recommended Posts

Port Vale 0 Sheffield Utd 5

Oxford 2 Port Vale 0

Port Vale 1 Bolton 3

Walsall 1 Port Vale 1(All depends on if they want to relegate us or have us in the same division next season)

Fleetwood 3 Port Vale 1

So 1 Point maybe 3 at Walsall, Still not enough to keep us up.

As bad as we've been away I do think we will get points at home and 1 away. Fear it might not be enough though.

Vale 0 Sheffield 2

Oxford 3 Vale 0

Vale 2 Bolton 1

Walsall 2 Vale 0

Fleetwood 0 Vale 0

Funny how football plays out.The fixtures are tough on paper but you could make a case against each team that we are playing them at the right time, which may tip the balance in our favour and Vale do better than we all think.

Sheffield - already promoted hopefully have a hangover

Oxford - Fixtures maybe fixtures catching up with them from JPT

Bolton - Probably already promoted with nothing to play for

Walsall - Nothing to play for could possibly play some kids to take a look at them.

Fleetwood - Expect them to play squad players as they will be in the play offs and won't risk injury to key players.

We will draw 2 and lose 3 . Our relegation will be sealed at Walsall . We will gain our last point when already relegated at fleetwood . We will concede 11 goals and score just 2 one will be a pen , other smith from a corner . Our 2 remaining home games will c home fans outnumbered by away fans . We will be in admin b4 new season starts .

Loving the correct analogy about all our opponents, however seeing as we could barely break sweat against Coventry and Chesterfield it is beyond the realms of fantasy to expect anything better.

Also our rivals will be playing teams with the so called ' nothing to play for' . Opponents include Walsall, Wimbledon, Northampton .....am sure all their fans are saying the same, the only difference is their players are busting a gut, ours are going down with a whimper

Vale 0-5 Sheff Utd

Oxford 3-0 Vale

Vale o-3 Bolton

Walsall 3-1 Vale

Fleetwood 2-0 Vale

As you can see i am confident of vales chances of staying up if the players do not change there attitude results could even be worse show some bottle and prove my scores wrong.

Healthy dose of realism or total pessimism? My guess?..........somewhere in-between!

When players don't try there is no chance of goals, let alone points.

Some players know what the future holds for them when the club is relegated and have agents already scouting for new employment.

They could be thinking, 'whats the use of giving 101% and maybe getting injured for low grade L1 wage?'.

They are best taking it easy and look for more money from a National L club.

I will be suprised if the team score five or more goals and get any points from the remaining games. It is Soooo sad.:cry:

Ok, I'll go for (completely optimistic):

Vale 3-2 Blades

Oxford 2-0 Vale

Vale 1-3 Bolton

Walsall 0-1 Vale

Fleetwood 1-2 Vale

Disclaimer: This is until I watch us play away again, & remember how god awful we truly can be, & then those last few will all change again.
