I can only . In the words of various catch phrase hosts say what I see.

On Saturday it was like he intended their second to go in. I don't really get how you could make such a pathetic attempt unless you wanted not to ger the ball

I saw the game on Saturday but not tonight. The 1st goal on Saturday took a huge deflection and he was moving in the opposite direction. The ball hit Smith and went into the other corner. Can't blame him for that.

On Saturday, there's no way you could blame him for the first. Massive deflection.

From what I could see tonight, the first would have beat a lot of keepers. Hard to say if Alnwick or Goodlad or any other quality keeper we've had would have saved it, but I'll have to judge from the highlights if he was off his line or not.

For the second (again from the poor-ish view we had), his positioning looked awful, so at this point I'd blame him for that.

Although having said that, letting a player like Taylor hit it from there with a few minutes to go is asking for trouble regardless of where the keeper is.

If I were Nathan Smith, who didn't put a foot wrong all night, I'd be livid with Fasan. Positioning is the most basic skill for a GK and Fasan's was woeful for Taylor's goal. He's cost us a point and momentum and confidence going into these next two crucial games.

I am yet to see him catch a cross or communicate with his defenders. He made a good stop first half, but nothing you wouldn't expect from a professional keeper.

I do worry when people like skinty who is probably one of the people's opinions on here Is value lowest is critiquing players from his view on radio stoke.

However, Fasan hasn't filled me with much confidence and so perhaps it's worth giving Mehmet a go. Does anyone know what he's like?

He's been caught out from distance for three of the last four goals. Also his kicking (not under pressure) was poor last night. That said, there's a collective responsibility for letting the opposition get shots off far too easily so for me he shoulders about a quarter of the blame.

I'm not one to slag our players off but Fasan for me is Sunday League at best standard, apologies to any Sunday League keepers reading this. I've yet to see him make a decent save unless it is a penalty.... His command of the 6 yard box never mind the goal area is non existence and without Smith's heroic heading ability from crosses we would lose 4 or 5 every week. Both goals last night he misjudged, he almost let one bounce over his head from a back pass (header). Surely we have a better keeper than this. Never heard him once last night shouting at his defence to organise them etc. and the back four never seem to even acknowledge he is there, which to be fair he may as well not be. Sorry :(

Merged them for you futchoff.

Didn't think he'd been too bad until now, still haven't watched last nights highlights (will on dinner, at work), but 2nd goal looked shocking from our view. 1st was a freak goal, think most are agreed on that.

The first goal at Northampton was a fluke. No goalie should be beaten from the distance he was.Swindon game,at fault for not realising there was a massive deflection on the way.Second goal, their player should not have been allowed to shoot.
