How can I be positive? He has taken us backwards. We are heading for League 2 and the ground is worse than ever.

 

Maybe the club shop is a positive and the errea gear is better but that's about it.

 

The ground I think needs to be downgraded to a 15000 capacity stadium. Maybe move some seats from the Paddock and into the Lorne street or from Bycars into Lorne street. A small Bycars end to accomadate the Lorne street would be a great start to making the ground 'More modern'.

Yet for all his talk of budgets, he is as bad at that as he is at running a football club.

I think it's wrong to rewrite history and state he has done nothing good for the club.

The signings of Purse and Hughes were superb.

The upgrade of the floodlights was sorely needed and delivered.

The club shop was built and is in a different league to what we had before.

However, I'm struggling after that.

The only other thing you hear is that "he puts his money in", well, I dare say no more than any other chairman of a club our size and he wants it all back. He is loaning the club money. And failing with it.

If there are any more positives I'd love to hear them.

Good question what has he achieved? Ah yes he's made me question why I keep going to Vale Park because for quite some time now it hasn't been an enjoyable experience.

He has separated the ground from the football club so he maintains an income to get his money back even if he sells.......sorry I misread the thread what has he achieved for Vale and not himself....er..er...nothing

Separating the club from ownership of the ground. Who will benefit from that? Who's risking going out of existence a la Coventry?

Made up for his alleged support for Brexit by increasing imports from Europe by 346 per cent, kept Paterson off the dole for 2 or 3 months, set racial proegress in football back several decades with remarks about Hasselbaink, made loads of supporters on a coach at Exeter wonder if their hearing was ok, showed a new kind of moral code by smirking about getting ridf of Rob Page and getting compensation, made us realise we were right about REP and Carpetman when they support his every word, and best of all.... completely doomed us by his last transfer window moves, getting rid of 2 of our 3 best players and not spending any money. That's for starters....and I didn't mention any friends of Maureenho in that rant.
