My winning bets and previous posts indicate otherwise.

Looks like being a belting day for the Tories if they can gain Copeland as looks likely.

Same old for Stoke.

Agreed. That snell came across as a right bell end yet he's still got in. Don't get meeting I'm not a ukip supporter, but labours only opposition here was ukip. A sad and sorry state of affairs for stoke. Tories have basically given up on the ****** who vote labour year in year out regardless of how much ***** is dumped on the city every year.

But is voting for a "remoaner" in the highest Brexit area any less of an embarrassment? Raises the question: what do the people of Stoke really want?

The bulk of the brexit voters probably couldn`t be arsed to vote, which shows the folly of giving them a say on such a complicated and important issue.

The Tory growth is the real story here. UKIP actually helped to keep the Labour seat as without them we wouldn't see a split right wing vote.

Who in the right mind would vote for the bloody tories? I get the UKIP vote, it's for the uninformed. But who is voting Tory?

Ha ha!

Ta-ra ukip, you vile stinking turd of a party.

Yes. Labour won a seat where 62% couldn't be bothered to vote...simply because that 62% have been let down to the point where they see no point anymore....and they believed the Labour smears and lies. Smears and lies that will not keep Labour in Stoke on Trent forever...they will wake up and when they do..Labour will be gone...and that day cannot come soon enough.

As for UKIP...I think the bile and ridiculous mud slinging that they get is way above avearge that any party gets...that is the only way to keep UKIP down..but one fine day that bile slinging will be defeated and your Bile slinging disgusting so called 'Sociliast party' will be put out to grass

The UKIP vote is for people who have woken up to Labour...the 'uninformed' word you used should be used for labour voters and exchanged for 'deluded' and used to represent the people who still think Laboour care about normal working people....they do not.

As I predicted earlier, the Referendum vote was turned on its head here. Last June around 70% of Stoke Central voted to Leave. Yesterday, more than 70% voted for candidates who were Remain supporters. Do "the people" have any idea what they really want?

If that referendum was held again do you really believe the result would reverse? Deluded

No one needed to sling mud at Nuttall - he threw enough at himself with his stupidity.

Woken up? What have the woken up to?

I had enthusiasm towards a change of strategy to the labour party, as I would never have voted for Ruth Smeeth or Tristam Hunt in a month of sundays however hes proven to me he couldn't run a bath, so I will continue not to vote for labour as I have done my whole life.
