It was always likely that another club would offer Birmingham a fee that we couldn't compete with. I assume that's what has happened and his transfer to whichever club will be announced in the coming days.

 

We had the chance to buy him for £50k

Similar situation to marcus bent being played on the left wing by barmy Horton. Opportunity certainly

missed with him, but at least Jones scored some goals!

Seems strange if he goes to a Championship side as that would be helping teams in the same division as Brum.

Maybe Zola thinks he can help Brum as they are in a nosedive since he was appointed.Does that also mean Sam Hart has returned to Liverpool as he hasn't been in the squad last two games.

Barnet bid £250k in November and Leeds, Barnsley and Bristol City also said to be potential suitors.
