I just can't understand why the reports of appointing an experienced English coach to help the manager with recruitment would be followed by the signing of 13 continental players? It doesn't make any sense to me but with Norman, who knows!!

My mate stood out in the schoolyard - for obvious reasons - and he would be taunted unkindly by some of our peers.

 

On the way home one time several local lads began shouting 'Go home ****'. Without skipping a beat Rod eyeballed them and softly replied...'I am home, I was born here'. You should have seen the stunned mullet look on their faces. Absolutely classic

So nothing like the MK / Wimbledon situation then?

Out of the 13 continental players we have offered contracts to I'd guess several are ex prem academy players, possibly from Chelsea? Utd? Etc. Who are possibly classed as "Home grown" but not English lads. I hope the core of the squad is British and our flare players are the continental lads.
