Season Ticket Renewal Invitations

Not renewed as yet and I've had NO contact from the club by any means....

It's not hard to decipher individuals renewal habits from the data the club hold on all of us previous season tickets holders.... Therefore reminding those that 'normally' renew before the end of May what their options and prices are.... And for those that they see should've renewed by now (based on habit) or those that have no history of renewal sending an email or calling them all over the course of the next few months to understand why and hopefully then 'Winning' them back.

The club absolutely lives in the dark ages when it comes to proactive marketing and sales, with tailored communications dependent of which bucket we all sit in...

Massive lost opportunity. Onwards and upwards eh!

Definitely not a moan simply a fact - the club are worse than useless at making supporters feel of value. For the record I've not been contacted, had anyone?

How difficult is it to do a group email!

We already have one, just go on the club website and click on the subscribe section at the top of the page.

Simples.

There is no enthusiasm, forethought or system in place at Vale to sense any opportunities in getting bums on seats.

That applies form the owner or manager down to the players and staff.

A completely new environment needs installing and soon. That has to start with new owners who must have their own ideas and plans to take us forward. Without them Vale are destined, unfortunately to wallow in the lower reaches of the League simply creating the atmosphere whereby nothing tangible occurs and we tread water for ever and a day.

And this post comes from one of the "optimistic" hard core long standing fans!

Hard to disagree with that! I feel more valued at my local chip shop.

Who actually doesn't know what they've got to pay for a ST?The prices are advertised on the website and the availability of STs is always being flashed up on the scoreboard.Have they not been advertised in the local press?

Email to everyone- If you want a better budget buy a bargain season ticket ,Adult price £15 per match. The more we sell the better the players we can bring in.Hit the target and you get an extra 2 games for free. That works out at £14 per match.Play Up Port Vale!

Does anyone think that IF we get new owners for next season THEY will want to hopefully release their own prices on season tickets etc?

From all the vibes it's clear that the vast majority of present ticket holders haven't renewed. Could it be that a concerted campaign by new owners may give everyone a boost by taking into account many of the brilliant suggestions by Valiants on pricing/ kids/families/etc etc?

All those that may have renewed to date could obviously be reimbursed IF the new owners come up with a mighty attractive deal to get bums on seats?

Smurf's current attitude towards increasing crowds at Vale are obviously lacking in any forethought or imagination in getting kids and families, as well as young men and women out of their lethargic ways towards Vale. New owners who want see crowds back at Vale Park surely have to believe that a large crowd each game is better in the long term than merely balancing books in the short term?

Realistically anyone buying Vale now have a thankless task! Do they gamble by offering very cheap season tickets to all and indeed free seats to youngsters etc or do they want their money back(potentially) as soon as possible?

For our great Club to move forward and have any improvement potential then we have to hope that the former is the case. Some new people with vision and plans to get as many people interested again in Vale. We all know that the spin offs for thousands attending matches are there to hack into- food, drink, attractions, etc, etc. A stadium bouncing with large crowds at low prices is imo the way forward, NOT to plod along as we have done in the forlorn hope that crowds will come.

There has to be someone out there who shares this view and can finance our successful push towards the Championship? Other "smaller" Clubs have risen from the depths with careful handling, why can't Vale be the next? We have come a fair way in the past 10 years or so and the base is there. We can't allow all the good, hard work so far to go to waste, can we?
