Asha in Falmouth is quality for anyone who ventures this way for their summer holiday's, cobra on tap and the staff are mega friendly

Went to The Gurkha a little further down when I was down in Falmouth last and couldn't get off the bog for a week. Not the best there, never tried the Asha but will do on your recommendation.

wouldn't eat that pap if it was free, give me a carvery anytime, you can stuff that dog awful indian gloop .

I wouldnt say it was pap but Im not keen on food that denies me the taste of its contents apart from the spice element, which rules out a lot of Thai food too... I dont mind a good carvery, its finding a good one that causes the problem.

when you're over try the toby formerly the cauldwell by the a34 traffic lights, a good choice of roasts, veggies sauces and gravy, where can you eat well for under a fiver, may not be to everyones liking perhaps not posh enough but it suits us.:eating:

I dont look for posh just taste. The problem with carveries is the veg is usually well over cooked and unsalted and the meat is cooked dry. Ive tried the one you suggest, the china garden, the bleeding wolf and the one at vale. They used to do a decent meal at the plough in hanley and the oak in rode heath, although the oak was hit and miss sometime.

Christ geo, the plough in Hanley hasn't been there for about 40 years.
